I wish I could tell you
How my heart really feels
The pain I have endured
And how it never really heals
But I dont want to burden you,
Ill keep it inside and smile through
I'll close my mouth and be someone new
Ill save the tears for my pillow
Where its stained at night
From the sorrow and the pain,
Im not always alright
I don't like to whine,
I dont like to weep
So I'll lay awake and cry
Instead of fall asleep
When the sun comes up
I'll smile for the day
I seem okay,
til' the sun fades away
Don't be sad, don't be down
My heart is scarred, it isn't you
If you wake, to see my pain
Don't cry, please don't look blue
For it isnt you
It is me
I am broken
