He's manipulative
Telling me what I can and can't do
He's the voice in my head with no reason
He's holding me back
He's the reason I can't breathe
The reason I quake and shiver
He's the reason I have attacks
And he's the reason I pick through every thought
He's everywhere I go
I feel him there
But he isn't a he at all
In reality, he is anxiety
