Jaune was unconscious for the past few hours, while a medic and a few robots that looks exactly the same were checking on his vitals constantly. the medic wonders when Jaune will wake up, but he knows he's alright and stable. one of the identical robots soon left the room to guard it.
The locals who found him noticed the former huntsman-in-training. the occupant's reactions were mixed of caution, wonder, and some who don't care, but shrugged it off and continued their work.
the medic checked on Jaune again, while the man who brought him in enters the room as he took a glance at the young arc, before turning back to the medic.
''did anything happen?'' said the man.
''nothing happened yet, but he seems to be stable for the time being, and good thing we managed to stop the bleeding just in time... whatever bit his arm off must be, unknown...'' he replied to the man
''how old is he?'' said the man
''he's about, 17 years old'' said the medic.
''(sigh) poor kid... what's his story, where is he from?'' said the man, glancing at the unconscious Jaune
''this might be shocking, but... he has no records." said the medic
''excuse me!!! did you just say he has....NO records?'' said the man
''I'm afraid so, believe me... I checked in the database and I'll I got was nothing... no family, no origin, nothing''
''are you sure?'' said the man
''I'm afraid so'' said the medic
this shocked the man; how come he hasn't been recorded in the database. unless...
''doctor, is it ok if i stay here until he wakes up? i need to ask him some things.'' said the man
''..... i don't see why not, but i'm going to tell the superiors of this'' said the medic
'' good enough for me'' said the man as the medic left the room.
the man then sat down, waiting until Jaune wakes up.
all i see is darknees, however i can feel myself regaining consciousness, when i opened my eyes all i see is a blurred vision and started to have a painful headache
''(groaning) where... am i? is this... heaven?'' said Jaune as he was about to place his right hand onto his face only to feel an impact of metal hitting his forehead
''OW what the heck!?'' Jaune said as his vision started to clear up and what he saw shocked him, his right arm was replaced with a robot arm with a blue glove

''careful, bud. you just woke up and you don't want to be knocked out again would you.'' said a man around his 40s with brown hair and light grey sideburns, wearing a dark grey spacesuit with a white collar and big dark grey shoulder pads and a planet with two ring in the center of his chest.

''Sup'' said the man
'' G'AH'' said Jaune
''relax kid, you look like you never seen an infinity guard captain before'' said the man
''.......... what's an infinity guard?'' Jaune silent
''It's earth's intergalactic space organization, dedicated to protecting all life in the galaxy'' said the man
''whoa, that's sounds cool'' said Jaune in awe, even though it reminded him of the huntsmen and huntresses and what they do.
''you're damn right it's cool. Name's John, John Goodspeed. And you?'' said John Goodspeed
''My name's Jaune Arc, or at least i used to be.'' said Jaune as he lowered his head in sadness
''what do you mean by that?'' asked John Goodspeed
''well, it's kind of a long story, but i don't want to waste your time sir'' said Jaune
''no no, i got plenty of time. let's start by where you're from'' said John Goodspeed
''(inhales and exhales) alright, for starters, I'm not from here. in fact, I come from a world known as remnant'' said Jaune
Jaune then began to explain to john where he's from, it's history, the formation of the kingdoms, the faunas, the faunas revolution to the great war of remnant to the SDC, it's slaver chain of the faunas, the insurgency of the white fang, the corruption of the councils and the racism towards the faunas and the constant threat of the creatures of grimm.
John Goodspeed's reaction was mixed. he was intigued, saddened, and angered at the same time when jaune told him all of the stuff that happened on his world.
''I can't believe it, a world where monsters exist. but what did you mean by ''at least what you used to be'' said John Goodspeed
Jaune then proceeded to tell him of his expierience and his time at beacon academy on how he faked his transcripts to simply have a chance to train like everyone since his family constantly denied to train him. John understood his desire of becoming a hero although what he did was wrong, but he had no choice. he listened more as Jaune told him of Cardin Winchester, who was terrorizing students at beacon academy and bullying a particular faunas, safe to say he was disappointed at the bully for his actions, then Juane continued as he told him on how he confessed his secret to his trusted partner, only to find out he was abandoned all over a lie, cardin eavesdropping and blackmailing him, revealing his secret to the school, him getting beaten by his so-called friends, and lastly, him getting disowned.
''......I am so sorry you went through all that.'' said John Goodspeed
''(sighs) yeah''. said Jaune
'' tell you what, why don't you come over to my place....'' said John Goodspeed
''are you... adopting me'' asked Jaune with hope in his eyes
''you know it, kid. besides, i already have a son and i don't mind having another'' said John Goodspeed
Jaune then hugged him as they became Father and son.
