in front of the dorm of team JNPR, we start hearing music, but not just any music...it's a theme song
as the song ended, everyone in the dorm started clapping at Jaune, Gary, And derrick finished singing that song
Jaune: and that song was made by a youtube animator called....
he was about to finish until he got a holo-call from nova and answered it
Jaune: (sigh) yes nova, what is it?
Nova: commander, we found someone who bears a striking resemblance to one of your friends, we need you to talk to her.
Jaune: on my way (shuts off the holo-pad), i'll be right back guys. something came up.
Nora: it's ok we understand, it's ''official business'' you have to tend to.
Phyrra: but don't worry, we'll wait for you.
Blake: same with me.
Ruby: we had fun today, right guys?
Gary: absolutely.
Derrick: we totally did
Quinn: (nods)
she nodded as jaune went outside and called a dropship to go to nova's base, which happens to be the infinity guard's first base they built when they arrived here, it arrived and jaune went inside as he told the student's he'll be back

as jaune made it to the base and got off the dropship, he got many salutes when he passed by the troops, both male and female, human and faunus, he then sees nova and approached her
Jaune: report, nova.
Nova: one of my troops found her unconcious with a LOT of bruises, he brought her here and sees that she looks like ruby but older
Jaune: like ruby?
he said as he raised an eyebrow and as nova gestured where the woman is, which is the room next to them, and that room is actually a med bay with the woman laying down on one of the beds with some medics and SAMES taking care of her
jaune looked through the window thinking ''is she an aunt or something'', he then went in the room approaching her as she said
???: you must be their leader?
Jaune: yes i am, my name is Jaune Arc. (he sits down) so what's your name?
???: My name...is Summer Rose.
as she said that, his eyes widened like dinner plates, realizing that he's talking to ruby's ''long lost/thought to be dead'' mom
Jaune: ROSE!!!!?????? as in Ruby Rose.
her eyes widened at hearing her daughter's name
Summer Rose: ruby.... WHERE IS SHE??? WHERE'S MY BABY!!!!!????
She said as she grabbed jaune's shoulders and pulled him to her face
Jaune: HOLD ON, Just hear me out.

after a long explanation, summer had mixed emotions: she was happy that her daughter ruby is fulfilling her dream of becoming a huntress, sad of what jaune has been through in his past, and disappointed in Yang for what she's been doing to him, not angry, just disappointed
Summer: i'm sorry for what yang did to you.
Human Medic: aren't you mad at her for what she did to our commander?
Summer: i'm not angry, i'm just disappointed. like most moms are with their kids.
Faunus Medic:
Jaune: Summer, i know you want to give yang her punishment, even though i'm thinking of doing so, but if you want to see ruby and your family, you're going to be in a wheelchair until you're fully healed. speaking of which, how healed is she medics?
Faunas Medic: Summer is just about 65% healed.
Human medic: but like you said, she needs a wheelchair if she wants to see her family.
jaune: good, because i'm pretty sure Yang is going to LOVE what suprise i have for her.
he said in a sinister tone
