You're seated on one of the couches in your quarters, the piece of paper with the transmission information sitting on the small coffee table in front of you.

Kylo stands against the wall ahead of you, his arms crossed over his chest. His mask sits on the opposite couch from where you sit, his cape draped over the back rest of it.

We looks so off guard, vulnerable. It's strange.

You gaze over the page again then look up toward Him.

"Maybe it's a mistake." You offer thinking of the possible ways the information could have been received wrong. Maybe it didn't print properly. Maybe the wrong message was tracked. Maybe the transmission worker could resist Kylo's force compulsion.

Maybe that's a bit extreme.

Kylo shakes his head. His eyes and mind elsewhere. "The information is correct." He pushes himself off the wall. "The message was definitely sent from on this ship."

You bite your lip. This could certainly be a good thing. If Kylo and Hux get killed then that's your job done.

Oh shit. Hux.

You stand from your seat. "We're going to have to tell the General about this. This does concern him too."

You can see Kylo bite the inside of his cheek. He knows that your right, he just hates the idea of bringing it up with Hux.

He simply nods. "We will tomorrow."

He casts his gaze over to the clock hanging on the wall, then steps toward the couch and grabs his helmet and cape from it.

You look at him confused raising your hands in questioning. "Uh, where are you going?"

He draws toward the door after grabbing his possessions. You quickly dash out in front of him, standing in the way of the exit so he can't go through.

He inhales through his nose and looks down at you. You raise your eyebrows.

"Well?" You hold your hands on your hips.

"We just found out that the threat was sent from on this ship." Your brows furrow. "And you want to leave?"

He takes a beat, tilting his head as he looks at you.

"I want to do some more digging before we set anything in carbonite." He says tightening his grip around his mask.

You narrow your eyes at him reading his expression before realisation sinks in.

"You think you know who sent it."
It's not a question. You say it aloud to declare it to yourself as well as him.

He doesn't do anything. Just stands there, stoic.

He goes to pass you but you shift to stand back in front of him. Kylo raises a brow.

He slowly bends down toward you, his height lessening as he comes eye level with you. You try to back away from his closeness but your back touches the door.

His eyes never leave yours, a sly smirk playing at his lips as he reaches his hand out, just brushing your waist as he hits the panel to open the door.
