Certain scenes and character portrayals in the original just seemed wrong to me. So I have re-imagined the story in my own way, with their own back stories and plot points.
The main characters of this story are
- Lu Sicheng - Also called Captain or Chessman. I use all 3 of his monikers interchangeably
- Tang Yao - Also called Smiling and sometimes little sister.
- Jiyang - Smiling's best frind
- Little Fatty, Old Cat and K - Fellow gamers on the team
- Ming God/ Ming-Ge - Former player turned coach
- Xiao Rui - Team manager
- Lu Yiu - Lu Scicheng's brother, alternate mid on the ZGDX team
Disclaimer - I am NOT a gamer. So , please excuse any mistakes in my portrayal of gameplay. The first couple of chapters are true to the original story line and after that I have taken my creative liberties with the characters. I do not own the characters, this is just a fan fiction.
