"It's important" and with those words, my heart started to beat even faster.

I then slid into the hospital bed, beside my sister, who slightly stirred at the movement, but she just snuggled into my side.

How could something like this happen to my sister?

I could feel the tears in the back of my eyes.

"What's happened?" my mother came into the room, carrying brown paper bags full of food while my father held two drinks trays.

"Could I speak to the two of you about Savanah's health?" my parents then left the room as soon as they had come in.

"What do you think is wrong?" Bella asked the question we had all been thinking.

Bella and Nic had both taken more notice of Sav ever since the incident of blood coming out of her wrist.

The other three had been collected by our grandparents, as they shouldn't have to see their older sister in pain.

Liam was the hardest to get to leave, and I understood why.

They understood each other, more than what any of us would know.

"How can a stitch that has been ripped cause this much damage to someone? Who would be after her in the first place? She isn't the type that would make a name for herself" I tried to make sense of the issue, but nothing added up.

"Where has she been today?" Bella asked.

"Well, she had a track and field meet that I was supposed to pick her up from, but I didn't, and she has been at school for the majority of the day. You don't think she was poisoned?" Nic explained, as he continued to brush his fingers through her hair.

As much as he wants to push her away, like we all do, he cares the most for her.

Sav always looked up to Nic.

"Why did we ever start hating her in the first place?" I couldn't remember the real reason.

"She became too clingy" Nic responded, guilt lacing his voice, as he looked down at the hospital ground.

"Well, I think I'm going to try and make amends with her. It's time" I said, pulling her closer.

Savanah was so small and fragile; I was surprised that she wasn't anorexic yet.

Maybe that was the issue.

"You don't like she is anorexic?" I asked.

"That could be an underlying health issue. She is quite skinny, and I rarely see her eat much these days. She's always been a health freak, but at school, I only ever see her eat vegetables and a salad" Bella explained, tears welling in her eyes.

"What happens if she never wakes up? Will she just die in a hospital bed, knowing that we hated her, but we actually loved her?" Bella then burst into tears, expressing her feelings.
