Walking into that office, made my breath hitch in my throat.
I gently tugged on my older brother's hand, trying to signal to him that it wasn't real, and we could just leave.
But I couldn't move my legs nor my mouth to say anything.
It couldn't be true.
He couldn't be here, living and breathing the same air that I had been breathing.
"Savanah. Benjamin" the way that our names just simply rolled off of his tongue made me want to run and hug him, but I couldn't move.
Just like it was when I was in Nicola's hospital room.
"No. It's not real" I breathed, my voice coming out as a mere whisper.
"I'm real" he smiled, opening his arms a little.
Ben gave me a slight squeeze on the hand, letting me know that he was still there while encouraging me to go forward.
He knew that I needed this.
I pulled my hand out of Ben's grasp, giving him one last glance, before I ran and crushed him into a bone crushing hug.
"Raf" I breathed, letting his familiar scent take over.
I felt his arms wrap tightly around my body, pulling me tightly into his body.
"Sav" he quietly breathed so only I could hear him.
"I missed you" I whispered into his ear, as he had bent down so I could reach him.
The last time I had seen him, he was 15 and I had only just turned 9 at the time of our kidnapping.
Now he was 20 years old while I had only just turned 14 a few weeks ago.
The day that I had wanted to forget just like I was.
"Raf?" I heard a small voice enter the room, making me let go of my eldest brother.
"Mono" Raf chuckled as he got down on his knees for Liam.
(Translation: monkey)
Just how he used to.
Clearly, he forgot that I was his little sunflower all those years ago.
Ben wrapped his arms around my shoulders as I stepped back from my brothers who were hugging eachother.
Clearly Rafael was following everyone else with forgetting me.
I pushed Ben's arm off from around my shoulders, walking back towards the door I had only just walked through moments earlier.
"Savanah- "the principal started, but I had already opened and closed the door to his office before anyone else could notice.
