Megumi's pov
Kohza is supposed to come over to meet my mom today.My mom wouldn't stop nagging me to let her meet him.
"Mom I made pancakes and sausages for breakfast come eat!"I shouted as I played the dishes
"Ah but I'm so sleepy!"she exclaimed back
"Did you stay up all night because you have a day off today?"I asked I didn't even need to wait for an answer.I knew she did
After I finished eating she finally staggered out of the room
"Do you want me to make you some coffee?"I asked as I brought her food to the table
"Yes please my dearest son"she said sitting down.
"Is Kohza still coming over today?"she asked with her mouth stuffed with food
"Yup here"I said handing her the cup of coffee
"He's supposed to be here in like 30 minutes"I stated.
"I haven't seen him in so long.You guys were best friends growing up you even cried when he moved and now your dating so cliche and cute."
"Mom...just hurry and get ready"I said waking up to my room upstairs
Thinking about it we really did spend a lot of time together growing up even though he went to a school I was his only friend.I guess he was bad at making friends from the very beginning.
How did I manage to befriend him.
"Wahah someone help meee"I screamed.I was stuck on top of the monkey bars
How am I gonna get down?I just wanted to hang out with them but they left me up here by myself.
"Whahaah"I cried out in fear.
"Don't worry I'll help you"an unkown boy said climbing the ladder as he gently helped me get down despite his rough appearance,
"Why are you crying did people bully you?"he frowned wiping away my tears
"Uh-huh they said if I climbed up there they'll be my friend but they were just lying"
"Are you stupid why would you do that.Aren't you afraid of heights?"he scolded me
"I don't go to school so I have no friends but they said they would be my friend if I did that so I-"
"Wow your really stupid ok I'll be your friend then"he said as he held my hand
"And stop crying you weakling show me who bullied you"
I squeezed his hand"Will you really be my friend?"
"I don't have any friends either since everyone's afraid of me so I'll be your friend for real"
"Really we're friends then"I said holding up our intertwined hands as I grinned at him
*knock knock
"I'll get it!"my mom shouted from downstairs
Kohza's here.I ran downstairs.
"Hello Ms.Knight"he greeted my mom
"Hi Kohza long time no see.Donyou remember me?"she asked
"I do"
"Kohza you can come inside"I said taking him to sit on the couch in the living area
"So how's my son treating you?"my mom asked playfully nudging him
"A-ah w-what oh"he smiled at my mom but I could feel the anger boiling inside him as he internally glared at me
