A pair of green emerald eyes slowly opened and blinks a couple of times. The sun shines through the window. He look at the digital clock on the nightstand beside his green bed and it reads 10:30 AM.

He widen his eyes and his breath hitched. He was about to shoot up from his bed until he sees the day that was on the clock: Saturday. He sighs in relief,

"Thank First Spinjitzu Master it's weekend... and things are calmer for now"

He turn around on his bed so that he's lying on his back and eyed the ceiling above him. The strands of his messy blonde hair kind of block some of his view,

He yawned and stretch, this week was not his week,

Back pains, headaches, muscle cramps especially on his right leg...

Not to mention his duty as the most powerful ninja in all the land which is to protect the land of Ninjago,

Alone.

Apparently, almost a year and a half after the great final battle between him and the Overlord, the age of the ninja has come to an end,

Well, to his friends at least,

They are... teachers now. His uncle had an academy which is actually his former school and it looks like his friends are the staffs excluding him, seeing that he need to go out to save the day frequently and live at the teacher's dorm. Including him,

He was supposed to be at his father's monastery in the forest and would help him occasionally but with the villages' range from there to the monastery is farther than the academy-and the many times he had to head out and to check everything's alright-so he moved in and it's been a couple of months,

He didn't know which one is more tiring,

Either being an all-powerful ninja who needs to save the day, every single day and at all times, or being a teacher that teaches little disrespectful brats who listen to no one for half the day, every weekday,

Both sounds exhausting really,

Not that he didn't enjoy saving all of those people's lives and have these awesome powers, like... he can summon his own dragon and go pretty much everywhere he want,

But after some time it can be pretty tiring,

Sure all of Ninjago depend on him and it feels like the whole world's fate is resting on his shoulders, but don't they realize that he's still just a kid on the inside?

Maybe he becomes a bit more mature because of the tomorrow's tea, and people see that, yes, but to give up his entire childhood just for fulfilling a prophecy and his destiny to become the Green ninja and can't experience what's it like to be a normal kid... sounded pretty unfair,

It's like what they say, to have great power it will cost a huge price and you need to have a great responsibility,

But did he really want it?

He never ask for power yet destiny just decide to give it to him and put a lot of weight on his shoulders,

Is it because he was the grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master? The creator of all Ninjago? Is that why the duty of becoming the Green ninja was given to him? To restore the balance?

He didn't know anymore,

He always feel something is missing but he just doesn't know what it was.

He can't touch it, he can't feel it on his own skin... but something was there,

Sometimes he can hear it though, sounded like someone else was inside his head and they were having a conversation. Maybe it was just his imagination or conscious but... something told him it was more than just that. He's already dealt with prophecies and visions and weird stuff that people will see him as crazy for actually believing those things so there's more likely it wasn't just an imagination,
