the enemy may try
to steal away your peace
your joy
your safety
but we will stay with you
through and through
healing will come
until then,
we can hold
12-hour conversations
to find some time
to laugh
or cry
or maybe
to feel less alone
even for a little while
just read John 1:5
that says —
and the Light shines
in the darkness
and the darkness
did not grasp it
darkness won't grasp you
because the Light
the Light lives
inside of you
