there are two ways
to read my poems

first
you read it as it is

second
you read the title
then just the words in italics

their relationship is like
the one you see on
specimen signature cards
first is full sign
second is initials

i don't know
why i am telling you this
but i think it's fun
to have my longer
and shorter versions
of poetry
