walnut pov

as I was chatting with mr sparkling and drinking my milkshake I realized I had to leave the bar because papa might worry "I must leave! papa might get worried!" I said "well it was nice talking yo you walnut!" mr sparkling said waving, as I got up from my chair I heard mr vampire spoke up. "hey hey! wait a minute detective walnut!" I turned around and asked "what is it mr vamp?" I asked in a confused tone turning around "you know I have this friend, rougefort- you might know him as your dad's friend." I nodded knowing that we hang out a lot ever since they stopped stealing- or at least I think they stopped stealing, but we hang out a lot playing dress up! "mhm- what about them mr vamp?" I asked even more confused about why he asked me that question. "well gimme your honest option kid, what do you think of them as?" I paused for a moment. they always cooked food for me and papa, they always hang out in our house and we would play a lot. they kept all my secret and I tell them about everything. after a moment of think, I responded. "they are like a parent to me." I said, mr vamp looks like he was going to choke on whatever he was drinking and said "o-ok kiddo thanks for answering the question." mr vamp kept coughing "goodbye everyone!" I said walking off with my milkshake. and to our house

vampire pov

after walnut answer my question, I almost chocked on my wine. "you heard that right???" I said looking back at sparkling and which he nodded "oh I'm so going to tease rougefort about this!" i said sitting back on my chair as herb and mint choco enters the room and I told them about the news. "OMG REALLY-?" mint choco said shocked. "yea apparently she sees rougefort as a parent" I said playing with my cup a bit "and i'm going to tease the living hell outta rouge" I said smirking

As rougefort and I walked into sparkling bar after we put walnut in bed. we saw the whole bar regulars in there. as I took a seat, rougefort sat next to me, we ordered our drink but then vampire started speaking. "so wanna guess what happened today?" rougefort looked confused and asked "no..? is there a event I should know about-?" rougefort asked as they were taking a sip of there drink. "well I asked walnut what she thanked about you. guess what she said?" rougefort stayed silent for a while before answering "I dunno- I never asked her that question but if I had to take a guess it would probably be...a criminal that hangs around in there house but we somehow gets alone." I looked at rougefort confused "wait wha-" I got cut off "shush you don't need to know anything about that." they said  "nope that's not what she said" vamp said while smirking, rougefort looked even more confused "then what did she say..." I could see that rougefort was clearly thinking about the possibility of what walnut said. "well she says she think of you as a parent-" when rouge heard that they nearly spit out his drink, "WHAT!?", they sat there for a moment and I was just gripping the table, trying to process the fact that walnut thinks rougefort as a parent."d-did she really say that-?" I said as rougefort bury his head on his hands and is currently dying of embarrassment. the thing is that we are actually dating but we haven't told walnut yet. as sparkling nodded I looked back at rougefort and put a hand on there shoulder. "at least she support us.." I said while trying to calm down. as rougefort looked at me while still blushing. "at least she will and I know she enjoys my company" they smiled as we paid for our drink and walked out. "do you think we should tell her?" they asked before stopping and facing me. "yea I think we can tell her when we have the time to." I stopped as well and stared at rougefort eyes. "I think we are going to be a great family." I said before kissing rougefort and melting into the kiss
