Chapter 2

After his visit at the cemetery, Chifuyu decided that before heading home he would make a quick stop at his shop. Just too check if everything was alright

" Welcome to-" Kazutora started but stopped mid sentence when he saw that it wasn't a customer who entered the store

The black haired male gave him a small wave before walking around the room" I take it everything went well today?" he asked curiously 

" Yes, no complications or whatsoever" Kazutora reassured

" Where's Baji?" 

" In the storage area." The boy pointed behind him " But how are you? Did you take care of what you had to? "

Gazing at his companion, Chifuyu gave the boy a silent nod before resuming controlling the shelves. And as he did this, he couldn't help but notice how neat everything was placed. Maybe even better then how he used to do it

Not only that, but the shop over all looked very clean and proper. There wasn't a single trace of dirt anywhere

Shifting his eyes back at his friend, Chifuyu slightly smiled as he could see how Kazutora really seemed to enjoy taking care of the place. His eyes glimmered in a way that his used to do as well when he first started to work

However now, it was different for him

The passion he once felt wasn't present anymore

" Hey Kazutora" The two toned haired male turned his attention to his boss " Would you like to take over my shop?"

Startled at the sudden offer, the boy looked closely at his friend to see if he could be joking by any change. Yet when his serious facial expression didn't seem to fade, only then did it dawn on Kazutora that he wasn't kidding

" Why?" he questioned confused 

" Well for starters, nowadays I hardly ever come here anymore. So it's always you and Baji who take care of the store. And secondly..." he paused " I simply don't have the heart to do this anymore. "

Frowning, the long haired male walked up to his friend and placed his hands on both his shoulders, giving it a light squeeze " Chifuyu, although I'm honored by your proposal, I really think you need to reconsider this"

" My decision stands firm" The raven haired boy immediately responded and backed away towards the door " It's alright if you don't wanna do it. However know that if you're answer is negative then I'll just sell the store"

" Wait-" the boy exited the shop and shut the door, not bothering to listen to what his friend had to say

Putting his hands in his pockets Chifuyu began walking into the direction of his house. And since the sky had already turned dark, most streets he passed were empty. No sign or sound of anyone 

Just pure quietness

Well except for the occasional noise of rustling leaves and crickets. However he did find it quite appealing. Somehow this kind of atmosphere managed to give him a sense of comfort. Which was something he didn't experience very often these days

Closing his eyes, the boy tried to let this feeling consume him entirely

But to his misfortune his pleasant moment had to be ruined when a familiar voice yelled out his name. Letting out a frustrated groan, Chifuyu turned around to face the person coming his way " What do you-"

" You really need to get your shit together! " Baji roughly grabbed him by the collar, yanking him towards him " I understand you're in lot of pain but you can't stay like this forever!" He roared
