" I've never read them but I think that Y/n and Shin got along very well with Izana" the blond girl smiled
" Get along you say?" Draken narrowed his eyes " If you ask me, this shit is kinda creepy..."
Takemichi nodded in agreement and looked at Mikey who picked up a letter and started reading it
Expecting nothing special, the blond was slightly taken by surprise when his dark eyes read the content of this specific piece of paper
Letting out a sigh, the boy dropped the letter and stood up " I'm gonna get some fresh air" he announced before leaving
" What's up with him?" Takemichi questioned confused at his friends sudden departure
Grabbing the letter he just read, Draken's brows furrowed when he saw what was written on it " Dear Y/n and Shinichiro, Lately I've been having a lot of headaches. It hurts and I think it must be his fault"
" Please stop talking about Manjirou" the braided man spoke the last sentence so low it actually send goosebumps through Takemichi's spine
" I don't get it. Mikey never meet Izana till yesterday, so why does he hate him?" he questioned
" I think I can enlighten you" Draken sighed " Since Y/n and Shinichiro were the only ones visiting him at the juvenile center detention, I think Izana only considered them as his true family. So take a guess on what he must have been feeling when he learned that both of them weren't his brother and sister alone."
" Jealousy?"
" Exactly " the dragon tattooed man confirmed " He holds a grudge against Mikey. And if you ask me, he has for a very long time. "
" What do you mean?" Takemichi asked

However in the letters he send to his siblings, it looked liked the white haired male was actually quite found of the H/c haired girl
So that left him with one big unanswered question. Why did he kill her? It made absolutely no sense
Glancing at his friend, Draken could see that something was troubling Takemichi. Nudging Emma in the side, the girl nodded her head as she understood the man's silent signal. Standing up she left the room so that the two could talk in private
" What's on your mind" the braided man asked, once they were alone
" I can't put my finger on it"
" About?"
Frustrated because he couldn't find an answer, the boy ruffled his hair " What was Izana's motive to kill Y/n"
Looking at the letters, Draken had to admit that he himself had no clue. As far as he knew, you were a good person. And although you could be a bit annoying, that still didn't count to him as a valuable reason to kill someone
" Maybe there's more to their relationship that we don't know" the man eventually answered after a long silence
" But whatever that might be, it still doesn't change the fact that we have to make sure Y/n doesn't get hurt" Draken's eyes filled with seriousness
" Right" his friend nodded " I take it Mikey will announce the battle at the Musashi shrine tonight?"
Draken shook his head
" Yes, so make sure to be on time"
