What now?

Remus held the envelope. It said "To my Father". He didn't want to read it. He was afraid of what it would say. He slowly opened it.

"Dear father,
I know you're going to do everything you can to find me but I beg of you. Please don't. I promise you that I'm safe. I never wanted to worry you but I had to leave. I can't be in the same house as Sirius.

I'm sorry father but I think I may love him, or at least one day I could. But the thought of seeing him while you don't approve pains me.

Do not blame yourself or Sirius. This is on me. I will be back, one day but for now this is goodbye. Never forget that I love you with all my heart.

Remus just sat there. Stunned. He couldn't believe that she actually left. His sixteen year old daughter had left him.

Sirius opened the letter.

Dear Sirius,

Do not think for one second that I regret what we did or how you were my first. I don't think I can live a happy life without you in it. Be it as my partner in life or just my father's friend but for now I have to stay away.

Im not going to ask you to wait for me for I do not know how long I'll be gone. I'm just a girl after all.

I hope that one day you and I can live a happy life even if it's apart. Do not blame yourself or my father for my leaving. You'll always have a place in my heart. I'll be in touch.

Sirius sat there with tears in his eyes. He knew from the moment her saw her that she was the only one he would ever need. He read the letter over and over again. Cluching it in his hands as a tear fell onto his cheek. He loved her. He didn't even have to think about it. He loved her with all his heart and vowed that he would wait for her, however long it takes.

*mean while In California*

Blake crooked his head and said "so why did you run away?" Obsidian laughed and said "maybe I'll tell you guys later, so about that surf lesson..."

The boys laughed. Andrew asked "do you know anything about surfing?" Obsidian shook her head. He laughed and said "okay well rule one is the surfer closest to the peak always gets priority. Meaning, if you're paddling for a right-hand wave, and a fellow surfer is on your left shoulder, you must give priority to them. Got it?" Obsidian nodded. Andrew took the girls hand and said "wanna go out on the water?"

Obsidian laughed and said "Sure!" and they ran into the ocean. Twenty minutes passed without Obsidian thinking of her home life. She desperately missed her father and Sirius. They started to paddle back to shore. Once they were on the beach Scooter asked "So, do you like mexican food?" She looked at him and said "uh duh!" They walked to a food truck and ordered. Jack paid for Obsidians food.

They all sat down. "So Obsidian whre are you from?" Andrew asked. "England." She replied. Blake asked "what made you choose Cali?" She shrugged and said "nothing really, I just had to leave so I did." Scooter then said "so wanna tell us what happened? Also how old are you? Jack and I are sixteen meanwhile Blake and Andrew are seventeen."

Obsidian looked up from her food and said "why I left is kind of a long story and I'm sixteen too." Jack nodded and said "well we've got time." She laughed and said "even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me."

"How do you know we won't believe you if you don't tell us?" Blake asked. She looked over his shoulder and thought she saw a wand. She shook her head, it must be her imagination. She started to eat when she saw it again. The man was staring right at her. Her hand was reaching for her wand, as soon as her hand grabbed it she saw him grab his. She jumped up and aimed her wand the same time he did.

The boys ducked and watched what was about to unfold. He shot the first spell but she defended herself easily. What this man didn't know was that she was the top of her class. "What do you want?!" Obsidian demanded. "For every bloodtraitor to die!" He shouted back. "Well tough luck" she said as she cast 'imperio' giving her full control of his body. She slammed him against the ceiling and wall until he was dead. She didn't like using dark magic but after what she indured she didn't care anymore.

She walked over to make sure he was dead. When she was completely sure she turned around to see the boys standing outside the booth with their mouths opened. Obsidian took a few steps forward and she saw Scooter take a step back. She put her wand up and said with her hands up "Hey hey it's okay, I'm not going to hurt you"

A waitress walked back into the room and saw the man on the ground. She screamed, picked up a phone and called what she assumed was the police. She looked back at the guys and said "we should get going before the officers show up." They nodded and they all left.

*at the burrow*

Remus paced he knew what he wishes were but he couldn't help but worry. Remus was in a daze. He didn't hear anything that people around him were saying. It wasn't until Sirius snapped his fingers that he started to listen. Molly suggested that we put her in the Daily Profit as a "missing person". Sirius said "No that would just alert the poeple who may want her gone that she's no longer under our protection."

Remus couldn't help but look at Sirius differently now. He wasn't mad anymore not after she left. He looked up and said "agreed. She made many enemies by associating with Harry. Not only from her Hogwarts house but from the Death Eaters."

Sirius thought to himself turned to Hermione and said "miss granger do you know if there's anything in those books that could be used to track her where-abouts?" Hermione looked up and said "I'm not sure but I'll keep looking and see what I can find." Sirius nodded and said "okay let me know when you find something." Hermione said okay and went right to work.

Molly was in the kitchen making dinner when Ginny walked in and said "mum it smells amazing!" Molly smiled and said "thanks dear." Ginny looked at her and said in a love voice "do you think she'll be okay? Out there, all by herself?" Molly looked at her daughter and said "Yes dear, after surviving torture from Bellatrix I think she can handle herself. After all she is a smart little one." Ginny nodded and asked "do you need help?" Molly shook her head and said "No dear, cooking takes my mind off this whole mess"

Ginny left the kitchen and sat next to Sirius. She saw the look of worry in his eyes. She leaned over and said "she'll be alright. She's smart and cunning. If she runs into any trouble she'll use their strengths against themselves." All he did was nod. She got up and went upstairs to her room. She sat on her bed. She didn't realize she was upset until tears started falling from her eyes.

She sat there crying when the was knock on the door. She wiped her tears away and said "come in". It was Harry who walked in. He said "Gin are you alright?" She nodded as the tears started to fall again. Harry walked over, sat on the bed and pued her into a hug.

Harry hated that Ginny was crying and there was nothing he could do to stop the tears. As he held her he felt her body start to shake as she cried. He whispered "its alright, we'll find her." Ginny nodded. They stayed like that for a while.
