Months have gone by and we're still just friends

Back to how it used to be

I hate it

But I mean at least it's not totally awkward and I haven't lost him. But I still love him and I really hope he still loves me. Josh said he does but I don't know.

We were sitting down and all of a sudden a girl walks in with tobi

I swear to god if it's what I think it is.

"Hey guys this is my girlfriend Kate"

The fuck. I take everything I said back

The boys don't really respond but he introduces all of us to her. She seems nice but I get a weird vibe

Whilst everyone's talking I get up to go to the kitchen when she gets up too

"How do you know tobi"

"Oh Um Im Josh's sister and tobi and I have been bestfriends since year 7 and he's actually also my ex."

"Oh Uhh why did you guys breakup"

"Oh don't worry that's just our story"

"Oh ok" and walks off

I shrug it off and go to my room

I don't like her

Josh then comes in "hey you good"

"Yea. I just thought this was a break but he's just moved on like it's nothing. I also don't like her"

"Neither somethings weird"

"Yea but oh well."

"Mums having Christmas at hers with the browns you coming"

"Yea I guess will she be there"

"Wouldn't be surprised"

"Ughh ok I'll go. Talk to you later"

"Yea bye"

A few days later it's Christmas. We all get ready for my parents and we get there and it's all the same. Josh being the favourite.

We sit down everything is normal but Kate is giving me weird stares. I ignore it until I go to the bathroom. I come out of the toilet and she's there I assume waiting to go.

But she follows me to where I was my hands. "Stay away from tobi"

"Excuse me"

"You heard me. I see the way you look at him. He's mine"

"He's not an object hun he's not your property this ain't monopoly"

"Well your an ugly fat slut who deserves no one and doesn't deserve to be loved and should go kill herself"

Tears come to my eyes and I just walk off. What the fuck.

I walk out and sit down. Tobi noticed I'm not ok. "What's wrong"

"Nothing" I go to sit down

"I'm not an idiot" he says stepping infront of me

"It's fine don't worry and sometimes you are"

He laughs a bit and doesn't want to make me mad so he sits back down

A few hours go by and I get up to go speak to someone on the deck. Kate walks past and says "Tobi never loved you hun" I crack it "that's enough" and push her we have a bit of a fight and everyone's watching.
