Chapter 12

9 months later

" Sordo please stay!" Tom cries

" I'm sorry Tom, I promised Oscar his daily date tonight," I say

" It's probably gonna be boring anyway, who wants to go watch a romance movie?"

" Hey romance's are amazing," I say defensively

" Whatever," Tom said

He stomps over to the couch and sits down, pouting that I'm not staying home to hang out with him. I can't just leave him here pouting. I sigh as I walk over to him. I sit down and wrap my arm around his shoulder. " Hey tell you what bud, tonight you and I can play video games as long as you want, i'll even bring you back some popcorn," I propose to Tom

" Will you bring back a big bag?" He asks with puppy dog eyes

" Anything for you Tom," I say giving in

" Your the best bro!" He yells

He gives me a hug and runs off up the stairs. " Have fun with my brother!" I hear him say half way up the stairs. Oscar must be ready finally. I stand up off the couch and grab my keys. " How do I look?" I hear Oscar say from behind me.

I turn around and look him up and down. He's wearing a white tennis skirt with a sweater with a sunflower on it and pair of black converse high tops. 

" You look cute but it's missing something," I say

" Really what should I add?" He says questioningly

I look around and see a vase with a Gloriosa daisies on a little table in the entrance way. I walk over and grab one. I push Oscar's hair back and place the flower on his ear. His hair falls over the side of his ear again and covers the stem of the beautiful flower. 

" What kind of flower is it?" Oscar asks

" It's a Gloriosa daisy,"

He grabs one from the vase and places it on my ear. " These flowers are mesmerizing," he says in awe

" Kinda like you," I say

" Stop you simp," He says blushing and looking down

" You know you love me," I respond, cupping his face so I can kiss his cheek right after.

" Let's go watch that movie already," 

and with that he grabs my hand and pulls me out the door. 

I pull out the keys and we hop in the car. Oscar grabs my phone and connects the aux cord. He goes onto Spotify and plays our playlist. The first song that plays is Lemon Boy by Cavetown. 

We just sit and listen. I have always loved this song, now I have someone to share this song with. It takes a little bit but we make it to the drive-in theater. I pay for the tickets and snacks. 

" Iv'e never seen this movie before, have you?" Oscar asks

" Nope, Nicky and Vix said they saw it together and it was good," I respond

" Do you think their dating?"

" Hmm, what do you mean?"

" I mean do you think that Nicky and Vix like each other romantically, stupid!" he says sarcastically

" Maybe," I say

" Of course they like each other, they probably had sex the same night we almost had sex," he says casually

I look down blushing. Why would he mention that. " Oh my god Oscar, please don't bring that up,"

" Your so cute when you're embarrassed, you know that?"
