adding onto Jackis ( aka the ever lovely MURDERMUSICAL) boy band AU !! because its currently my favorite thing second to the apocalypse au and i adore riot girl culture so bing bang boom
Fun Facts:
- The band is called Strange Følk, shortened to SF
- SF is fronted by Emma Bloom, with Noor Pradesh on lead guitar, Fiona Fraunfield on bass and occasionally rhythm guitar, and Bronwyn Bruntley on drums.
- they travel with Wyn's adopted daughters, Olive and Claire, and both are heavily involved with the creative process
- their manager is a woman they called Miss P, and her overly energetic son is the drummer of SFs self declared rival band
- aka Third of September lol
- SFs style is a disaster mix of modern riot grrl, pop punk, and general chaos in musical form
- see Slutever, Mommy Long Legs, The Oozes, and Trip Kissing as prime examples of how i think their music would sound
- their cover of Maggot by Slutever was #4 on the top 100 billboard for well over a year, which added an unneeded boost to Emmas ego
- yknow that spoken bit before Nice Nice by Dazey & The Scouts? yeah they start every show with something like that
- their fanbase is batshit crazy lol
EMMA BLOOM
- Emma is on vocals, and she makes most of the album art!!
- her hair has been dyed so many times that even she doesn't remember its natural color ( right now it's a bright red and it's her favorite color so far, even if its faded to orange), and big green eyes that look far too sweet for her face
- painted doc martians, battered battle jackets with so many patches you can hardly read half of them, red dresses cut off at the mid-thigh, fishnets and fingerless gloves, smudged makeup
- she's uh... she's pretty gay
