(A/N: Diamond's outfit for today. And for her hair just think of... Dolores Madrigal)

(Diamond'sPOV)

There were three things I was absolutely sure of: 1) Edward was a vampire. 2) there was a part of him, and I didn't know for sure how dominant that part might be... that thirsted for my blood.

I got up from bed as I heard honking from outside. I adjusted my bonnet and grabbed a silk robe, putting it on. I then walk out on the balcony and see Edward in my driveway.

And 3)...

Edward waved up at me with a smile and I waved back.

I was unconditionally, and irrevocably in love with him...

(~ at school ~✨) (3rd POV)

"Monte Carlo? That's our prom theme?" Asked Jessica when she was handed a flyer.

"Gambling, tuxedos, and Bond, James Bond." Said Eric, playfully as he passed out flyers for prom to the other students. Nearby, Angela, who was taking pictures stopped when she saw something, "Oh. My. God." She gawked as she saw Diamond and Edward getting out of the SAME CAR.

Everyone began to stare at the two as they walked. Edward, who was wearing sunglasses, then placed his arm over Diamond's shoulders and she wrapped her arm around his waist. Diamond blushed as she noticed all of the stares.

"Y'know, literally everyone is staring?" She said as she felt slightly embarrassed. "Well, not that guy." Edward said as he pointed at some random guy who wasn't looking at them for a moment, but then he looked. "Never mind, he just looked." Diamond shook her head.

"We're breaking the rules now anyways. Since I'm going to hell." He said as he smirked while his adopted siblings were giving him looks of disapproval.

Diamond didn't really know what he meant by that last comment, but decided to just ignore it as they neared the school entrance.

(~time skip~)

No longer in school, Edward and Diamond were at... actually, I don't know where they were at, but they were sitting on the ground outside talking. Edward was in a more crouched position and Diamond in a crisscross apple sauce. She was asking the vampire questions.

"So do people have to be dying to become like you, or...?" The young witch asked curiously. "No...no that's just Carlisle." Edward answered, "He would never do this to someone who had another choice." He said as he picked at the ground.

Diamond then asked another question, "How long have you been like this?" "Since 1918. That's when Carlisle found me dying of Spanish influenza." Edward answered.

"What was it like, to change?" She questioned as she absentmindedly grew small flowers in the colors of the rainbow and started to make something. Edward answered, "Well the venom was... excruciating. But what Carlisle did was much harder. Not many of us have restraint to do that."

Diamond looked up from her little "project" a little confused, "But didn't he just have to bite?"

"Not exactly. When we taste human blood, a sort of frenzy begins. And it's almost impossible to stop." Edward explained to her. "But Carlisle did." Diamond clarified and Edward nods. "First with me, then with his wife, Esme."

"So is there a specific reason why you don't... kill people?" The witch asked some what hesitantly, not wanting to say the wrong thing.

"There are a few, but the main reason is that... I don't want to be a monster."
