Present Damien POV
As I turned I saw Jason but before I could stop my katana he ducked and went behind me hitting a point in my neck knocking me out by instinct. As I was knocked out I got lost in memories
5 year old Damien POV
I have been here two months and it's safe to say the woman is one of the weirdest people I have met. She doesn't get mad when I do something wrong or when I stop because I'm tired. If it was mother I would have been punished but I wasn't. I was upstairs the cabin were in has two levels both myself and Percy live on the second level. But Percy was downstairs in the kitchen making dinner.
Earlier I finally perfected some of the moves taught to me by Percy and apparently that's something to celebrate according to her. I'm brought out of my thoughts buy a knock on the door.
"Come in"
3rd POV
In comes Percy with a plate of blue cookies. Walking to were Damien was she holds out a cookie. Damien looks at her with a cold face but his eyes hold confusion.
"Eat it I promised it's not poisoned" says Percy a smirk playing on her lips Damien hesitates before reaching out and grabbing a cookie and taking a bite. His eyes widened before taking another bite and another finishing the cookie and grabbing another completely forgetting the etiquette that his mother taught him. Seeing this Percy smiles and thinks
Don't worry kid I'll make sure you get a childhood even if it's a small one
The memory changes to Damien laying in bed sleeping before screaming out "Stop! St-STOP please!" Damien was remembering one of his mothers punishments. A minute passed Damien still yelling when Percy runs through the door hair a mess running to Damien's side and taking him in her arm saying
"Your ok your safe your with me"
She kept repeating that until he woke up soon after curling into her arms crying the facade of a cold child assassin long forgotten because as he calmed down he realized for the first time in a long time he felt safe in this woman's arm a woman who had been nothing but kind to him.
Present Damien POV
I woke up with a start trying to shake off memories as I stood seeing I was still in the train room. That idiot left me here after knocking me out. I grabbed my katana that had been lying beside me on the ground before going upstairs into the manor yelling "Todd YOUR DEAD!" missing the look of amusement Tim sent me from the computer
