*Camilo's POV*
I didn't know what to do now. Mirabel was gone and I didn't stop her.. I had the chance and I froze.
I'm so stupid! Why didn't I stop her?! What am I supposed to do now?! Do I tell the others?! Do I go after her myself?! Or would it be too dangerous?! Ugh! I thought as I put my head in my hands in frustration. I know which direction she went in roughly. I can't go tonight. It's too dark. I won't be able to see her. I'll go after her tomorrow in the daylight. But what will I tell the others?
I needed to think of a lie to tell the family so they didn't suspect anything was wrong until after I was long gone. I didn't think it would go down well if Abuela found out about this. Then again, would she care? She was pretty mad at Mirabel before she sent her to her room. She thought Mirabel was trying to ruin Antonio's big night but I know she would never do that. I'll just tell them I would be helping someone in town for the day. That should give me enough time to find her, right? Yeah. Of course it will.
I headed to my room and got everything ready for tomorrow. I won't be coming back for a while. Not until I find Mirabel.
