Chapter 18

It had been two months since the entire Sakura thing and at the moment Naruto was pacing around the hospital. His nerves were worked up and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't get them down.

A few days ago his Anbu were patrolling the forest of death because no matter how high those gates are or how far they stretch, horny teenagers usually get in.

So as they were patrolling. While doing their routine check up they came upon the unconscious body of what looked to be a sixteen-year-old boy.

He wasn't from Kanoha, because everyone knows everyone.

They took him to the doctor seeing as he might have stumbled into the forest and gotten hurt.

He was checked over and Naruto almost cried.

There were signs of abuse everywhere on him.

In the form of scares.

Naruto knew that this was no ordinary kid, but for Naruto to get answers he would have to get the kid to wake up.

So yeah that was gonna take a while to wake up.

Right now Naruto was having another ultrasound. Sasuke was out on a mission because Gaara requested his help with the rogues.

Naruto happily let him go as Sasuke and Fugaku had been at each other's throats and Naruto was close to kicking Fugaku's ass, because Sasuke sure as hell doesn't start petty shit.

So he had to get Sasuke out of that environment before Naruto pulled an Itachi.

He wasn't alone at the ultrasound though.

Madara went with him.

The man has made it his personal mission to stick to Naruto's side. After what Sakura pulled at the compound Madara decided that she was a threat to his great-grandchildren both born and unborn.

So he decided to stick to Naruto's side and he made sure that one of his clones where always with them.

Madara was on high alert during the visit to the hospital as he knew Sakura was still on duty.

They did the ultrasound and Madara almost jumped in joy when he heard the heartbeat.

Almost. He still had an image to uphold.

"Okay. So everything looks good. As you can hear the heartbeat is steady and has a good rhythm." Tsunade said.

"That's good." Madara said.

"Yeah. I will get you the video of the entire heartbeat and the pictures. You just hold on." Tsunade said as she got up and quickly went to the back room.

Naruto wiped the gel off of his forming baby bump and got off of the bed.

"See. Not that hard." Naruto said.

"For something so important it seems to be quite easy," Madara said.

Tsunade came out of the back room and handed Naruto the pictures and the video.

He hugged his granny and they both left.

They were on their way out when one of the nurses ran up to the blonde.

"Hokage-sama!" She called out.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"He's awake. The kid we found in the forest is awake." She said.

Naruto took Madara's hand and they both shunshined to his room.

The blonde raven looked at them in shock as he was about to jump out the window.

Naruto pulled him away from the window and for the first time in the blonde raven's life he was embraced by someone in a none threatening manner.

Naruto held the kid close to him. He was startled when he saw the kid almost jump out of the window.

His motherly instincts told him that he was gonna commit suicide, but the kid wanted to escape. So luckily nothing like that.

"Oh my Kami. Sweetie don't do that ever again. You could get hurt." Naruto said as he was calming down his raging heart.

"Wh-who are you?" Kawaki asked.

"Don't think of changing the subject sweety. Oh my goodness. What were you thinking? You could have gotten hurt or worse. Oh my Kami you could have died." Naruto said as he tightened his hold on the blonde raven.

The blonde raven felt like crying. No one has ever shown the amount of concern towards him than the man holding him right now has.

He latched onto the blonde and slowly tears started flowing down his face.

"Oh sweetie I'm sorry. I'm not mad at you. Don't cry." Naruto said as he rubbed circles on the boy's back.

"Why are you so nice to me? You don't even know me." He cried out.

"Oh sweetie. I don't need to know you to be nice to you." Naruto said.

He sat the crying child up and wiped his tear's away.

"Okay. Now my name is Uzumaki Naruto and I am the Hokage of Konoha. This is my friend Uchiha Madara. We found you in the forest of death and you were passed out. Do you understand that?" Naruto asked.

"Yes."

"Okay. Now can you please tell me your name so that I can help you get back to you're family?." Naruto said.

"No. No please don't. Don't send me back there." The boy said as he started struggling against Naruto's hold.

"Okay. Okay. Okay. Calm down. If you don't want to go back then we won't send you back." Naruto said.

"You won't?"

"No, but if you want my help you are gonna have to tell me your name okay." Naruto said.

"My name is Kawaki." He said.

"Kawaki. Okay Kawaki can you please tell me what happened to you or do you not want to talk about it?" Naruto asked.

"No please." He said.

"Okay sweetie. I'm gonna ask you one question. Okay. Just one then I won't ask you anything else about it." Naruto said.

Kawaki nodded his head and Naruto asked,"Where they experimenting on you?"

Kawaki nodded his head and Naruto just pulled him in.

"Okay sweetie I am going to talk to the nurses. Tell them to bring me your medicine and I am gonna send one of my ANBU to get you some clothes. Okay." Naruto said.

Kawaki nodded and Naruto put him on the bed.

Madara stayed with him as Naruto quickly ran to go and get the medicine.

"You must be careful when around him." Madara said.

"What?" Kawaki asked. That specific sentence could mean a whole lot.

"Not in a bad way." Madara clarified.

"Then in what way did you mean it?"

"What I mean is that Naruto can not always hold a struggling child. It could get dangerous for him." Madara said.

"Why? Is he sick or something?" Kawaki asked.

"No. He is pregnant." Madara said.

"What?"

It wasn't long after when Naruto came back with the medicine and the ANBU came back with some clothes.

Naruto took Kawaki home. He wasn't gonna let a kid stay at the hospital all alone.
