God it feels so good to be back home. Right where we belong!
"Home sweet home" Riley gushed as we walk up to the front door
"mm do you know what I just thought?" I asked as Riley starts to look for her keys
"What's that?" She said after successfully taking them out of her bag
"This could be one of the last times we come home with different surname" I smirked making Riley smile
She placed her hand on my chest before leaning up to place a kiss on my lips as she opened the door all in one swift moment
The moment we pulled apart Riley went to turn the light on and as soon as she did almost 100 people jumped up scaring the crap out of us both
I happily caught Riley as she stumbled back clutching her chest
"Surprise!" They all yeah
"Yeah we got that" I laughed before seeing banners around living room, they were congratulations on your engagement banners
"Let us see itttt" Michelle squealed stealing Riley out of my grasp
Looking around at all the girl circling Riley to look at the ring made me smile, Riley was blushing and also looked like she was on cloud nine
I don't think anything can beat how this feels for us both right now
"Someone's getting marrieddddd!" Luke cheered coming over tapping my shoulder. We were soon joined by Theo and John
"How on earth did you beat us" Eldon asked standing at the open door with West causing all of us boys to burst out laugh
Trust those idiots to be late to the surprise

The party had been going on for quite some time now and sadly I had barely seen Riley, everytime we got a single second she was then pulled away by someone else
I don't mind too much though, she is having a blast and at the end of the day. I'll be alone with Ri when they all go home
"Alrightttt!" Emily said tapping her glass
I mean come on, if anyone would be giving a speech it would have to be Em
"James, I won't lie you were never going to be my first pick for Riley. You two were so different and I never saw it coming. But I have to admit seeing you together does just show much opposites attract" Emily said, I glanced around the room to see Riley doing the same
The moment she caught my gaze she smiled walking over to me allowing me to wrap an arm around her
"The love that you two share is one we could all only ever dream of" Emily smiled nodding in my direction
"Riley, I never thought I would see the day that one of us gets married. I remember we would talk about it as kids, you wanted the big princess wedding but then started to look at the prices of things and swore off of it" Emily teased
"How's that going for you Riles?" She said making everyone laugh
"I don't care about the cost, I'm pretty sure Dad will help, as will I. You'll have your dream wedding" She smiled
"To the happy couple" She said holding her glass
I smiled holding my glass up before gently tapping it against Riley's
"Jamesyyy" My mum said making me instantly groan causing Riley to nudge me before turning to my mum who now had the floor for a toast
"I remember growing up, you always used to tell us that you would find a girl one day and she would be the one and you'd know" She said making me smile
"And then you met Riley. You wouldn't stop talking about her, you had your father convinced you made her up in your head" She laughed causing everyone else to erupt in laughter too
"When you brought Riley home, we all knew she was as perfect as you had described and could see why you were so smitten. Baby James was right, he did find the one. And he found her pretty soon" Mum smiled before raising her glass making everyone else join in
The speeches continued, there were some from the boys, Michelle, Ri's parents. But now everyone was leaving and it was finally just Riley and I
"Can I have this dance?" I asked Riley making her giggled before nodding. She put the place of rubbish she had in her hand down before taking my hands allowing me to twirl her around our living room
"I can't wait for our first dance" I whispered pulling Riley in close, she had both arms now wrapped around my neck while mine laid happily around her waist
"I can't wait to start to rest of my life with you" I continued making Riley smile
"I can't wait to marry you" Riley finished making me smile this time
"I love you" I said
"I love you" She replied before leaning up to press our lips together
It took us some time to get here, but here we are
