After James told the boys, we came to the agreement I could tell someone if I wanted to. And I knew just the person 
"I remember when Dad brought me here for the first time" Piper laughed as we sat in the back garden

Of course Piper was going to be the person I told. She's like my little sister, I wouldn't want to tell anyone else first

"Is that when James did this all behind the scenes?" I asked and she nodded
"That boy was over the top about everything, he wanted to make sure it was perfect" She said making me smile
I glanced down at my phone to see a few texts from James, mainly wanting to know if I had told her making me laugh lightly 
"Is that James?" She asked and I nodded

"Piper, I asked you here for a reason but before I tell you I need you to promise me something" I said making her eyes widen
"I didn't do it" She said making me raise a brow at her
"Didn't do what?" I asked and she shrugged
"I fear I've said too much" She muttered making me laugh
"Piper, I have news for you but I need you to promise you won't tell a soul" I said making her smile slightly 
"I won't tell a soul!" She said crossing her heart 

I chuckled before grabbing the envelope from my bag and a coin
"Scratch it" I smiled hanging it to her, she looked at me confused
"What is it?" She asked and I rolled my eyes
"Scratch it Piper!" I laughed
She laughed alongside me before she started to scratch of the heart
The more she scratched the more she gasped
"Riley" She warned
"Riley!" She exclaimed
"Riley!" She yelled making me laugh until she looked at me

"Please don't tell me this is a joke, please tell me this is serious!" She said and I smiled nodding
"You're going to be an Auntie Piper" I smiled before being attacked by her small frame
"Oh my god!" She squealed making me laugh
"Can I call James?" She asked and I nodding chuckled

"You little sneak!" I hear Piper squeal as James answers her FaceTime
"Ahhh she told you" He smiled making Piper nodded
"You're having a baby James!" Piper yelled and James laughed
"Really Pipes? I didn't have a clue" He said making me roll my eyes

I've been thinking long and hard about this, part of me trying to convince myself to do it while another part of me realising I can't just pick up and leave given everything going one
James had been texting me constantly the last house after being concerned that I missed our FaceTime call but I know if I answer him
I'll end up staying

I took one more look around the house as I stood by the door with my suitcase in hand
What I find crazy is that we didn't have this place long and it was already full of memories, from the first time we came home all the way to the Engagement Party
James and I would have lazy movie nights, intense dance parties
This house has been a big part of the last few months so it feels strange leaving it

I looked down at my phone once more to see another missed call from James, I hate that it's come to this. I hate that I can't answer the phone
Turning back to look at the house one last time I let one tear slip
But that is all I would allow

After that I walked out of the door closing it behind me. 
Not looking back...
