Chapter 7

I ran up to Itachi with a large smile.

"My favourite Uchiha!" I hugged him tightly making him laugh loudly.

"Hey Lilia!" He greeted happily, hugging me back.

I haven't seen him in a few days due to being so busy with graduation and training.

I let go of the Uchiha. I noticed a boy who was a bit taller than Itachi standing next to him.

I hid my excitement as I made eye contact with the boy.

"Hi, I'm Lilia Kizua." I held my hand out to the older Uchiha.

"So you're Lilia. It's nice to finally meet you. My name's Shisui Uchiha." Shisui grabbed my hand and shook it with a gentle grip.

Oh my gosh! I don't know how to react. Sad or hyped? I don't know!

"You've heard about me?" I raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Itachi told me about you." He smiled down at me making me glance at the other Uchiha.

"All good things I hope." I grinned up at him.

"He just said you're always smiling, now I can see it."

"What are you doing here? I thought you would be starting your first day as a Genin." Itachi furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, while also interrupting us.

"I was given the day off because it's my birthday and my team hasn't been decided yet." I shrugged.

"It's your birthday? You didn't tell me that it was today!" Itachi sent me a glare, mad I didn't let him know.

"It never came up." I chuckled.

But his birthday already passed, I gave him a bracelet. It's just a simple plain black leather bracelet with a silver curved piece on top.

He loved it though. He wears it everyday he says. He's wearing it right now actually.

"And what are you guys up too?" I noticed the targets covering the trees and the kunais sticking out of them.

"Shisui has been teaching me some things." He gestured to the targets.

I pursed my lips, trying not to feel sad that he's found a new training partner.

"I can show you some stuff too? If you want." Shisui piped up, smiling at me kindly.

He must have noticed my expression.

"I don't want to interrupt. I can come back—." Itachi grabbed my arm and pulled me along with him and Shisui.

"That's sounds great. Since you're beginning as a Genin, he can tell you about how it's like on a mission, right, Shisui?" Itachi hinted to the oldest boy.

Shisui chuckled and nodded. "I don't see why not. Since it's your birthday, I can show you a few tricks."

"Since you love training more than anything in the world, I'm sure this will be a okay way to spend your birthday." Itachi inferred while sending me a knowing look.

I grinned back at him. "I get to train with two people from the legendary Uchiha Clan? There's no way I can say no."

"You're from the Kizua Clan, right? I think we are pretty lucky as well." Shisui glanced back at me with a smirk.

"You two are so humble. Are all Uchiha's like you two?" I joked making the two laugh.

But I'm sure Shisui's laugh sounded a little forced.

Shisui and I were sitting against a tree, waiting for Itachi to collect the kunais and shurikens.

We had a little contest to see who can get the most perfect targets. Itachi lost and was told to collect all of them.
