===Shawn POV===

I've been waiting for her since school was over and also it's going to be dark. Where is she? thought Shawn.

"Boy why are you here since class was over? Don't you have to go back" asked the school guard.

"Yes I'm waiting for my friend. She has detention class and it's seems like there's going to be dark soon so I've been waiting for her to go home together" I said.

The school guard smiled and said "Oh that's so sweet. You're a great friend to her"

I smiled and nodded. Then I heard a voice coming from the exit way. It's her.
Finally she's here. But why does she look frustrated.

Who is not frustrated after getting detention right thought Shawn.

=== Nancy POV===

"Gosh it's going to be dark soon" said Nancy in frustrated voice and again cursed herself for not doing homework.

While heading towards exit gate of the school she noticed a familiar figure standing there again ofc she knew who was he

"How long have you been here ?" Asked Nancy.
"Since you had gone" said Shawn.

"O god I thought you were gone since it's going to be dark soon"

"Nah, how could I leave you alone as you said it's going to be dark soon And I told you I'll be waiting here for you"

A smile formed on Nancy's face hearing his words. She felt happy thinking that someone was waiting for HER for not leaving HER alone.

"So let's go" Said Nancy and they both exited the school.

While walking Nancy noticed something and excitedly said "I want ice cream" and then pouted.

"How cute" thought Shawn.
"Ok Then let's have some ice cream" said Shawn.

"I also want to go Park if you don't want to go home soon. It's been a long time since I haven't gone there also I'm free right now" said Nancy.

" I'm also free right now so We can go to the park after getting ice cream" said Shawn.

Then they grab some ice cream and headed towards the near park.

In park-----

Nancy happily eating ice cream while Shawn staring at her. She looks so adorable thought Shawn.
"Why are you staring at me? I know I'm beautiful but you don't have to stare like that" said Nancy while laughing at her own words.

Shawn also laughed at her words and said "I've never seen anyone eating ice cream like this......like a child who got ice cream after so many fight with her mom".

"I mean you look so happy eating ice cream like a five year old kid" said Shawn while giggling.
"I'm not a kid. I'm a grown woman now. I-i m-mean grown lady" said Nancy while laughing at her own words again.
"Ok ok you're. Now happy" said Shawn.
"Ye very much" said Nancy happily while licking her ice cream.

At that moment Shawn feels so glad to have a friend like Nancy who never fails to put a smile on his face, who looks so adorable when smiled. He felt so comfortable around her. He met her only yesterday but it feels like he had known her a long time ago. He never felt like that before.

"Thank you" said Nancy.
"Huh? Why? Why are you thanking me" said Shawn almost confused.
"Thank you for waiting for me at school and accompany me to this park" said Nancy.
"please don't thank me but i should thank you" said Shawn.
"Why" questioned Nancy.
"I never had a friend like you before who understands me, respects to my choice with out any questions and i'm not the one who accompany you, you are the one who accompany me since I'm in school even other students gave me a weird look. So
Thank you for being my friend.
Thank you for not giving me that weird look like others.
Thank you for accompany me" said Shawn.

At that moment Nancy felt glad and also emotional cuz no one had not said these emotional words to her before except Lyra and her Aunt. She felt a connection with him. Weird right thought Nancy.

Then Nancy gave him a smirk and said "I'll accept your thank you in one condition"
"Huh? What condition?" Asked Shawn in confusion.
"You have to help me with my studies" said Nancy while smiling.
Shawn laughed at her childness nature and said "yes I can so please accept my thank you".
Then they both giggled at each other's childish words.
"don't you want to go home. It's already dark" asked Shawn.
"Oh yes I've to go now" said Nancy and they both exited the park.

Then Shawn asked to walk her home since it's been already dark. But Nancy refused cuz he already waited for her at school and then accompany her to park so she doesn't want to take his more time. But Shawn insisted so she agreed.

After reaching home Shawn said goodbye to her before walk back. Nancy looked after him until he disappeared from her sight.
Why I'm feeling so happy now thought Nancy while smiling.
