~Miyoung~

You'd think that things would be a bit better between us... nope. Not at all.

When Jimin and his members got back, I was happy to see them all. They were all super tired and you could tell they wanted nothing more than to just sleep. Though it was amusing to see how much they missed the girls though. Yoongi mumbled something about Seyeon before waving at us and disappearing out of sight.

Hoseok's eyes were half closed as he mumbled, "I need to see my wife. She's probably waiting for me at our house." And like Yoongi, he left.

Seokjin yawned, "Yumi is on her way. Let me go make some room on my bed for her."

Namjoon rested his elbow on Jungkook's shoulder and then said in an amused tone, "Let's head back to our cold beds, Jungkook."

Jungkook shook his head, a smile tugged at his lips, "I think I need that more than anyone right now."

After the two left, Jimin's eyes briefly met mine before he silently went to his room too. Seeing the bags under his eyes and how skinny he got, I thought it'll be best to leave him alone. Not that there's much for me to say anyways.

I turned to go to my room when I felt some cramping. I placed my hand on the kitchen counter and then the other hand over my swollen bell. A whimper escaped my lips as the pain intensified.

"Damn it," I whispered before making my way towards the lounge room and sitting on the sofa.

My hands trembled as I sat on the sofa, rubbing my hand over my belly to soothe my baby. Praying that everything is okay with my baby and that all the pain the last few weeks were normal.

Finally, after what seems like hours... the pain finally subsided and I was able to walk normally back to my room. I wanted nothing more than to close my laptop and sleep. I needed it. What I didn't expect was to see Jimin in my room... on his laptop and sitting at my desk.

"Why are you in my room?" I asked him.

"Stop asking so many questions," Jimin muttered.

"But I want to know."

Jimin glanced up from his laptop for a brief moment before shifting his gaze back to the screen. "I want to make sure you're asleep and okay first."

"But I am okay."

I saw his eyes rolled before Jimin scowled, "Just shut up and sleep."

So that's what I did. I got comfy and then pulled the cover up before turning my back to Jimin. The sooner I sleep, the sooner he'll be out of my room. Not that it matters because I'd be asleep anyways.

I didn't tell him that his presence made this room feel warm. It felt warmer when Jimin's around... and every time he's not around, it was hard. Jimin has that effect on you. He makes everything okay.

Don't be an idiot, I scolded myself as I snuggled against my pillows, He doesn't love you... and he will never love you too.

The thought cut me deep just like a knife. My heart hurt at that and all I could do was just rest a hand over my chest, trying to keep it together.

All this reminded me once again why there was no way Jimin will ever love me the way I wanted... or the way I deserved to be loved too. And that sucks because we made a baby... but I tell myself that as long as Jimin and I can somehow put our past behind us... that things will be okay.

Just as I fell into a deep sleep, I felt a soft pressure on the top of my head and Jimin murmuring something that I couldn't decipher.

~Jimin~

Seeing Miyoung's face paled before she made her way to the lounge room caught Jimin's attention. He slowly followed her, leaning against the wall as he watched his fiancée whimpered like she was in pain.

He frowned at the sight, wandering if he should do something. Anything.

Maybe I can use this as an excuse to be near her again, Jimin thought to himself before making plans on just how he will execute this plan. He looked over at Miyoung and saw that she looked like she was getting better.

He hesitated before rushing to his room and bringing his laptop to Miyoung's room. Her scent filled him and Jimin wasn't even aware of the soft smile on his lips before he made his way to her desk.

The next morning, Jimin was less than pleased to see a text from Haeun. He was about to respond to her when he heard Taehyung calling his name.

"Give me a second!" he shouted back.

"No! Get your ass down here!" Taehyung yelled.

Jimin ran a hand through his messy hair before going to find where the others were at. The second his eyes landed on Miyoung, he could see her eyes on his chest and he tried not to smirk at that as he put his hoodie on.

"What?" he asked, leaning his hip against the kitchen bench. Everyone was here.

Seyeon was grinning.

Jimin couldn't help but laugh, "Aren't you happy this morning, noona."

His eyes slowly went towards...

"What is that?" Jimin asked, eyes wide as he pointed at the big, black balloon that was placed behind the guys. He scratched his head. Was it someone's birthday?

Miyoung grabbed hold of the black balloon and walked towards Jimin. He pressed back against the counter, hands on her hip. Maybe to others it looked like he was trying to hold her back but that's the opposite of what he wanted to do. He missed holding her. Touching her like this tugged at his heart... especially with her bump pressed up against him.

He's an idiot for always taking it out on Miyoung, though he promised he'll do better for her. She's already going through so much already.

Jimin was jerked out of his thoughts when Miyoung held out the balloon for him. Was it his birthday today?

"Uh... thank y—" Jimin didn't get to finish his thanks when Miyoung suddenly popped the balloon with a needle she was holding. Blue confetti exploded in his face, with Jimin surprised that she popped a massive balloon in his face.

Cheers and screams erupted around him, jerking Jimin out of his shock.

"It's a boy," Miyoung whispered, a small smile tugged at her lips. Even with the others screaming, cheering and speaking over one another, Jimin heard every word clearly.

Jimin's eyes watered a bit and he couldn't help but grinned, "Fuck yeah."

"I told you it was a boy!" Yoongi said loudly.

Seyeon pouted, "Aww!"

"I said it was a boy too," Yumi said, smiling.

Seokjin shook his head, "I knew I should have sided with you on that one."

"Cough it up," Jungkook said, wrapping an arm around Seokjin's shoulders. "You, especially."

Seokjin rolled his eyes.

Jimin laughed at his members and then turned his head back to Miyoung, "You don't have long now."

Miyoung smiled and shrugged, "Nights drag on because this little one likes to kick."

Before he could even think, Jimin reached out and ran his hand over Miyoung's swollen belly, murmuring, "You sleep as much as you can during the day then."

He lifted his eyes to meet Miyoung's. For a split second, it was like they were in their own little world. A perfect little world.

Both smiled at one another, knowing that it was all going to be okay.

Except for Miyoung who's determined to hold onto her little secret that just might break the heart that's starting to beat for her again.
