~Miyoung~

Since announcing that we were going to have a boy, Jimin and I grew closer. It was just like old times... except, in a friend kind of way.

"Fruits," Jimin muttered, pointing at the bowl of fruits he had cut up perfectly for me.

"In a minute," I rolled my eyes as I continued to write my essay. "I'm a bit busy there."

"I have to go now, Miyoung," Jimin said, shaking his head.

I glanced up at him. Right. A photoshoot or something.

"In a minute," I repeated.

"That's fine," Jimin said, sitting down on my bed, crossing his legs with his arms crossed. "I will just be late."

I stopped typing for a second before resuming once more, "You wouldn't."

"Yeah?"

With a sigh, I stopped typing and grabbed onto the bowl, glaring at him as I shoved a piece of mango in my mouth. With my mouth full, I gestured for him to leave, mumbling, "I'm eating them now so go before you're late!"

Jimin laughed softly, getting to his feet before reaching out and tousling my hair. "I'll be back soon. Give me a call if you need anything."

I waved at him as he walked out of my room. My heart raced a little at how close he was and I rest a hand over my heart to calm it down, reminding my heart that this was only because of the baby.

So much for getting along with him.

"Haeun—yeah, this isn't a good time," Jimin said, yawning. "I'm really tired. Is there anything I can help you with?"

I watched from the couch, trying hard not to listen but couldn't help but eavesdrop too. Annoyance filled me but I tried to not let it show.

Jimin made a face and looked over at me before shaking his head, "Not a good time, Haeun."

I was about to leave to go to my room when I felt a sharp pain in the head.

Something's not right, I thought to myself, panicking. I rubbed my temple with my fingertips, wincing a little. Why am I getting so many headaches these days? Not only that, my body is aching and it's getting hard for me to breathe too. I thought it might be somewhat normal because I've been working a bit too hard but—

"Miyoung."

I looked up at Jimin, tiredly. I can see that he'd hung up on Haeun and was now in front of me.

Jimin squatted down to my level, eyes filled with concern, "What's wrong?"

I was about to say nothing and just brush him off but I didn't have the energy to fight or lie to him. Plus seeing him this close to me... was making it hard to think. God, how can someone be so handsome? It's not fair.

Jimin took hold of my hand, brushing his thumb over my fingertips. "You're not feeling well, are you?"

I shook my head. I wasn't.

Jimin let out a soft sigh before getting to his feet. Then he leaned forward towards me and instinctively, I draped my arms around his shoulders before Jimin scooped me up in his arms. I glanced up at him, tiredly and felt his hold on me tightened.

"Let's get you in bed and then I'll call for a doctor," he murmured before walking out of the room with me in his arms.

I pressed the side of my head against his chest, feeling Jimin glanced down at me. I closed my eyes, trying to block out everything.

It didn't take long for everyone... and I mean everyone to come into my room. It was a little embarrassing to have so many people hovering over you and asking if you were okay.

"I can call a friend," Jihye said, in a soft voice. "She's a doctor."

I was wondering why Jihye was here but my eyes straight to Namjoon and I tried not to smile. At least those two were starting to get along.

"That'll be good," Jimin said with a relieved smile. "Thank you, noona. It means a lot."

Jihye just nodded and left to go make a phone call.

Namjoon didn't hesitate and walked right out after her.

As soon as the two are gone, a sly grin appeared on Taehyung's face.

"Whatever you're thinking of doing, don't," Hoseok said, eyes narrowed. "Jihye is... vulnerable at the moment."

"I say go for it," Seyeon said, eyes bright with mischief.

"You heard her," Minseo said, wrapping an arm around Taehyung's waist. "Now let us hear your grand plan."

"Oh god," Yoongi murmured.

Soft chuckles echoed around me, though it was hard to concentrate on that when you're in so much pain.

Thankfully, the friend Jihye was talking about was passing through the area and agreed to stop by. She was young, pretty and really sweet.

I was really grateful that she dropped by, especially after finishing a shift.

As Lily checked me all over, I could see Namjoon's fingers slipping through Jihye's... and through that small gesture and the look on their faces was enough to tell me that they are very much still in love. Even if she's engaged.
