At 22, Kim Seokjin was no longer a rookie in training. He was a Korean idol, the oldest of the seven members of the very young group BTS, and had worked very hard in a short period of time to get there.
Indeed, he was originally recruited for his physical appearance and had to learn everything because he did not master either singing or dancing, skills which were however the heart of his profession.
Despite his efforts and success, negative reviews followed him daily and he was filled with complexes and fears that did not go away, sometimes feeling unworthy of performing alongside his talented younger bandmates, his dongsaengs. Sometimes, he even had trouble falling asleep at night, because he was so consumed by his worries.
Seeing this, his fans, more and more numerous, felt his suffering from the grief for their precious Jin and tried at all costs to reassure him. But the singer was plagued by far too powerful negative thoughts and his self-confidence was at an all-time low, despite all the kind words he could receive and which he cherished with all his soul.
One day, however, he had an encounter that would transform his life.
