John opened his eyes and looked at his clock. 9:30?

What happened? Paul always came to wake them up...

Well, their was nothing he could do now. Might as well not go to school.

John shrugged and yawned. He got himself out of bed and knocked on Paul's door.

"Paul, you okay? You didn't wake us up this morning.." Silence was all he heard.

"Paul?" John started to get suspicious. And slightly concerned.

He knocked again. No answer.

John opened the door a crack and peeked inside.

"Paul?" He wasn't there.

******

"We've looked everywhere." Ringo sat down at the counter.

"Ah, this is all my fault!" George put his head down.

"I shouldn't of yelled at him!" George's voice was muffled.

"I don't think it was you Geo."

"Then who could it be John?" George lifted his head up and wiped his nose with his sleeve.

"I think it was him." John said.

"He was ashamed of himself. He kept saying he killed mother." John told them.

"We need to go find him." Ringo got up and got his jacket out of the closet.

"Wait Rings." Ringo dropped it.

"He might be at school. We don't know for sure if he ran away or not." George said.

"I know how we can tell." John started to smile. He walked into Paul's room and looked through his drawers.

"Ringo, George. Look in the kitchen. You'll notice if any of the food is gone." John said while looking through the drawers.

"Ah-ha!" John smiled like he found out he was a genius.

"His scrapbook is gone." John snapped his fingers.

He went into the kitchen to find George eating and Ringo turning the kitchen upside down.

"George can you help please?" Ringo sighed.

"After my break." George said.

John scoffed. Then took George's apple away from him.

"HEY!" George said.

"Afterwards." John said.

George sighed and started looking.

"John, quite a bit of food is gone." Ringo said.

"It might be because Paul actually did leave or George's eating habits."

George noticed they were looking at him.

"What?" George asked.

John chuckled.

Then the phone rang. John picked it up and instantly knew it was the school.

"Hello? Who is this?" John said trying to match his father's.

"Oh hello. We just wanted to know why your four boys are gone today." The lady on the phone said.

"Oh, they all got the chicken pox. They won't be there for awhile." John cleared his voice.

"Alright then. Please let me know when they are feeling better."

"I will, goodbye." John said.

"Bye." The lady said.

They all made a sigh of relief.

"Now we know that Paul really did leave." John nodded.

"Alright lads, lets go find him." John and the others walked out the door.
