Park Sunghoon's POV

"You're what?!" Jay exclaimed on the other line.

"Yup," I proudly said.

"Hoon, the fuck? You don't know how Sunoo suffered while you were gone, now you're telling me that you're in his condo? Unbelievable." Jay said, sounding really surprised and disappointed at what I told him.

My eyes went to Sunoo's room. After our meal earlier, he actually told me to leave. He hasn't spoken to me after going back to his room though.

I can't just leave, I won't leave until I have him back.

"What's your plan now?" Jay sighed.

"I don't know," I truthfully said.

Maybe Jay's right. Who in their right mind would immediately go back to someone who left them after so many years? Right, no one.

At this point, I am questioning my decision I made 4 years ago. Was leaving him the right one? What if I stayed? What if I never agreed studying Medicine? What if I didn't break our relationship off even if I was away?

There are too many what if's.

"Do I still have a chance?" I thought as I looked at Sunoo's closed room.

"Yah, just to give you an advice. Just take it easy, yeah? Take it slow. You already know how hurt Sunoo was when he lost his sister. You know it, you were there, Hoon." He explained.

"Just don't do anything stupid. I know you got this, okay?" Jay continued.

"Yeah," I smiled. "Thanks a lot, I needed the motivation." I said before ending the call.

I stood up from the couch and decided to shoot Sunoo a text.

"Sun, I'll be heading out already. You don't have to lock yourself in your room. You may come out now :)"

After a few minutes, I helped myself step out of his unit, looking at his room for the last time before completely going out.

"Ah— I'm sorry."

"Ow—"

"Shit, sorry. I wasn't looking." I bowed and apologized to the man I accidentally bumped into.

"Ah, no no, it's alright. I wasn't looking, too." He flashed me a smiled before going on his way.

I eyed him and noticed that he was on his way to Sunoo's unit.

Huh?

Shit, I was right. What the hell is he doing there, who is he?

I just watched how he entered Sunoo's unit from afar.

Kim Sunoo's POV

I paced back and forth in my room. Knowing that he is just outside makes me uneasy.

Fuck him. Fuck him.

I couldn't really think straight after having a meal with him. Hopefully he already left.

My phone suddenly chimed. A message arrived.

"Can I come over?" It read.

My eyes suddenly lit up at the name.

Lee Sangwon.

He's a block mate from college, also someone who I treat as my 'life-saver' just because of our first encounter.

From then on, we have become great friends.

"Sure, I also need company :)" I sent.

"I'm on my way! see ya." I noticed that he has seen my message immediately, so he replied as fast.

Oh, was he waiting for my reply then?

After minutes, I received another text message.

"Sun, I'll be heading out already. You don't have to lock yourself in your room. You may come out now" It said.

This time, it was from Sunghoon.

I pursed my lips, feeling a bit guilty.

"I'm sorry, I am just protecting my peace, Hoon." I thought before closing my phone.

I then heard the door bell ring, so I immediately went out of my room to open the door.

I looked around to see that Hoon was nowhere to be found.

Of course he already left, why did I expect seeing him when he already said he went out already?

Stupid.

I opened the door and was surprised by Sangwon who immediately hugged me.

"Oh-"

"Oh gosh, Sunoo Kim!" He greeted me.

Yup, he really is this clingy. Others would think he was my boyfriend during college because of this.

"Yah, Sangwon!" I gave back the same energy and let him in.

"I haven't seen you since graduation! You forgot me quickly?" He removed his shoes as he joked.

"Eh? What are you saying? My phone broke just recently that's why I haven't contacted you." I pouted because of what he said. Of course I wouldn't forget about him.

"Alright, alright. You're being cute again." He pinched my cheeks.

"Oww" I rubbed the area he pinched. What's with my face, huh?!

"Oh?" As soon as he sat down on the couch, he picked up a small paper.

"'Please message me, Sun. Thank you for eating with me after a long time. I missed you'?!" Sangwon read out loud.

"Huh?!" I was just as shocked as him that is why I immediately snatched the small note from his hand.

I read it again and again. It's his writing. Well, of course it's him who wrote this, who else would?

"Eyy, who's that?" He teasingly asked.

"Oh, shut up. He's no one." I rolled my eyes, trying to suppress the smile that's about to form on my face.

"Eh? Why are you smiling," He pointed at me and continued to tease me, laughing at my face.

"Wait, did he just leave? He may be the one I bumped into earlier." He asked.

Oh, they saw each other?

"I guess? Who knows?" I pretended I didn't care.

He looked at me again. Ah, his face, I swear. It might meet my fist soon because of how annoying he looks when teasing me.
