Hi, like all of my writings, this page is dedicated to what you need to know (or what I think is important for you to know) before I begin this story.
This is just for info on the story in case things don't make sense or line up with MCU information. I am aware that not everything in this story is canon so i thought i would constantly update this to let you know why certain things are the way they are.
Because the Eternals only showcase certain events of history, I will be adding some for more content. I will also be writing fully in English and using modern language no matter the time period. I am not a historian so many of the events may not be historically accurate and some may be complete fiction.
1. I will most likely be changing some of the plot of the movies to include my characters and make it make sense with the plot of MY story
2. I'm fairly new to the MCU so i'm sorry if i mess up plot lines or characters too much
3. i have never read the comics so all my information will be based on the films
4. the movies don't have much info on timeline, like the time span of the movie or what time of year it is or even how much time has passed in between movies, so i've kind of had to craft my own
5. in this story, there are eleven eternals. The main character, Ereida, has control over darkness and light. Ere comes from the Greek god Erebus who is the personification of darkness; ida comes from the Sumerian goddess of light Serida
6. If Makkari has dialogue and I don't put "signed" after it, she was signing no matter what. Any time someone responds to her, assume they're signing as well
7. the sexualities of some already existing characters may not align with what they are in the Universe, it's just my own headcannon as a queer person
8. I'm writing the characters how I view them based on the movies so if a character does/says something you don't think matches them, cool, that's just what I personally think they are like (this is especially true for characters we don't know a whole lot about yet)
9. If you disagree with any of my content or any of the changes I've made to already existing plots, you are entitled to your opinion but don't be rude or hateful about it
10. PLEASE DO NOT STEAL ANY OF MY WORK. I can understand being inspired by it but plagiarism is not cool and I worked really hard on this
