"Babe, can we buy this" Dami said showing the bag of gummies to his boyfriend

"Of course" Yedam said. Dami then put the gummies on the cart and the two continues to stroll around the grocery store

Dami stop walking when he saw his boyfriend looking uneasy "Babe, is there something wrong?" She said

"Uh, I just want to ask..." Yedam started

"Are you mad at Doyoung?" Yedam asked Dami

Dami's grip at the cart tighten hearing his boyfriend's Best friend "It was all a misunderstanding, so I'm not mad at him" she said then went back from getting the grocery

"Let see, what am I going to buy here" Doyoung said checking his phone to see the list of what he's going to buy as he is currently at the grocery store

He was lazy to buy groceries at first, but seeing his fridge, he have to

Doyoung started to buy the groceries that listed on his phone after that he went to the counter. His eyes widened seeing a lot people lining up at each counter

"Uhhh, I hate waiting" he groan as he lines up. He  scroll at his phone as he waits

20 minutes have passed and he's now on the counter. As the cashier does his job, Doyoung look around the grocery

Only to see familiar faces on the other counter. Doyoung eyes widened again when he saw Yedam and his girlfriend Dami

And unfortunately, his and Dami's eyes met

"Sir it'll be 234. 567won" the cashier said, Doyoung immediately cut his eye contact with Dami and pay at the cashier

He immediately grabbed his bag of groceries and was ready to go home, but...

"Doyoung!" Doyoung stop hearing his name being called by Yedam. He turn back and saw Yedam and Dami walking towards him "You're here too?"

"Yedam" he said, he then look at Dami who's clinging at his boyfriend's arms

"Dami" Doyoung said softly. He pause for a second before he realized something "I- I'm sorry about what happened" he nervously said in front of Dami

"It's okay Doyoung, it was all a misunderstanding" Dami said smiling at him, which Doyoung can't tell if it is genuine or not "Let's just forget about it"

"Are you going somewhere after this? Dami and I are going to the cafe wanna go with us?" Yedam said

Of course no why would he wanna go with them, it's very awkward you know "I don't think I ca—"

"It's better if you go with us" Dami said cutting Doyoung's word

But he doesn't want to, at the same time he'll feel guilty if he refuses "o- okay" and that's what he said

The three were sitting inside the cafe. Yedam already finished his drinks and they're now talking together. And as usual, Doyoung feel awkward

Their talking was interrupted by a sudden call from Yedam's phone "Oh, just wait a minute" Yedam said grabbing his phone and go outside to take the call

It was now Dami and Doyoung left at the table and it cause more awkwardness in Doyoung's feelings making him silence

He unnecessarily checks his phone just to look not uncomfortable in front of Dami

"Doyoung" Dami said, Doyoung flinch when she slightly slam her drink on the table. The sudden change of her expression also surprise him

"Yes?"

"I know that you and Yedam are friends. But can you do me a favor" she said, leaning back on her chair and giving Doyoung a look

"What is it?" He said. He knows in his mind that this isn't going to be good

"Can you distance yourself from Yedam"

"What do you mean?" he asked

"What I mean is that, Can you distance yourself from Yedam, like I know that you two are friends, and I am his girlfriend" Dami said but Doyoung is still confuse

"And I don't like how he spends more time with you rather than me" she said raising her eyebrow. While Doyoung is still silent processing what she said

"You want me to distance myself from my best friend?"

"Exactly. And if possible stay away from him" she said causing Doyoung to feel angry

But somehow she was right, maybe she was just jealous how Yedam got to spend time with him rather than her, maybe it's normal for a girlfriend to feel like that. Doyoung kinda understand her

But what she requesting was kinda too much.

"So are we clear Doyoung?" Dami said moving her face closer, resting her chin on her hands

"I'm back, sorry" said and went back sitting beside his girlfriend "What are you guys talking about?"

"Oh, we just talk about you, nothing much" Dami lied

"Right Doyoung?"

Doyoung snapped back hearing his name being called by Dami he look at her and her expression went bright again "Y- Yeah" he said

"You guys, did Doyoung exposed all embarrassing things that happened to me" Yedam said

"Actually he did" Dami said then fakely laughed a little bit

"I have to go" Doyoung stand up causing the couple to look at him

"Really?" Yedam said

"How unfortunate" Dami said trying to sound disappointed but in reality, she's happy about that. She's been wanting to find an opportunity to tell Doyoung to stay away from his boyfriend, and she finds that opportunity just now

Doyoung took one last glance at Dami who's smirking evilly at him, before going out of the cafe
