Hyunsuk apologized to Doyoung as he put another bag in the trunk of his car. "I'm really sorry, you can't go with us. Our car is already packed with things. Maybe you could try asking the other guys" he suggested

Jihoon, who was standing next to him, looked confused. "I thought you were going with Yedam?" he asked

Doyoung wished he could avoid that question. He didn't want to see Yedam for now. He was still embarrassed about what happened last time. He knew it would be awkward if he went with Yedam. He had kissed him in a drunken moment, and he didn't know how to face him after that. He felt a mix of attraction and confusion towards his friend, and he didn't know how to deal with it

He tried to act casual and shrugged. "Nah, he's probably busy. He always is" he lied

"Speaking of Yedam, he's finally here" Jihoon said, pointing at a car that stopped in front of them

Yedam got out of the car and immediately greeted his friends with a smile. "Hey, guys. I'm sorry, I'm kinda late. I forgot to pack my things last night, so I rushed this morning" he explained

He then noticed Doyoung, who was standing a few feet away from the others. He felt a surge of nervousness and excitement. He had been thinking about him ever since they kissed

He decided to approach him and act normal. "Doyoung-ah" he called him, making Doyoung jump in surprise. "You can put your things in the backseat, there's still space left" he offered

He didn't even let Doyoung speak he just walked towards Doyoung and reached for his baggage. "Is this yours?" he asked, earning a subtle nod from Doyoung. He lifted the baggage and carried it to his car

Doyoung was just standing still, looking at Yedam with wide eyes. He couldn't believe that he was acting so casually, as if nothing had happened. He felt a pang of hurt. Feelings he didn't suppose to feel

He was snapped out of his thoughts by Hyunsuk's voice. "Doyoung! Why don't you help Yedam put your things in the car?" he scolded him. Doyoung immediately obeyed and followed Yedam. He tried to avoid eye contact and muttered a quick thank you

After putting everything in the car, Yedam got inside and started the engine. While Doyoung was outside still composing himself, trying not to look awkward sitting beside him. He wished he could sit somewhere else, but there was no other option. He was stuck with Yedam for the whole ride

"Are we all ready to go?" Jeongwoo shouted from his car, breaking the silence. Everyone responded with a yes, except for Doyoung, who just nodded

Doyoung sighed. He had no choice but to be with Yedam throughout the ride. He got inside the car and buckled his seatbelt. He wore a proper outfit this time, no more chain on his pants, so no shits would happen again. He hoped that the trip would be over soon
