Today is the day I start my school year as a freshmen at my university! I am supper exited to see my friend group the Shepperd's! As I get off the bus, I enter the school just to see two groups bickering at each other, but gladly a two teachers came in and stopped the fight. I immediately spot my friends the Shepperd's, they were kind of part of the bickering side of the engineers, so I go and say hi. While walking to them I bump into someone
-"Sorry 'bout that!" I hear the guy say, with amazing grey eyes and fluffy orange hair, this guy also had a lollypop in his mouth with extra candy in his pockets 'so he has a sweet tooth' I thought,
-"No, it's all right I kinda walk into you as well. My apologies" I respond catching myself looking at him too much.
-"Well how about I give you this lollypop and we can call it even?" while handing me an orange lollypop
-"Well...alright." I grab the lollypop out of his hand and I say "My name is (y/n-"
"Bubbles." he said as he was interrupting me.
-"No. my name isn't bubbles it's (y/n)(l/n)"
-"Sure thing Bubbles. Since we are introducing, the name's Gai-" "
-"Jackass" he just stared at me blank and surprised for a second then laugh's.
-"Wow. No one has ever done that before! Nice one Bubbles!" 'Gai-' said while still laughing
-"Well two can play at this game and what were you saying Jackass?" I reply, while having a smirk on my face
-"Well then, the name's Gaius. Which team do you work for Bubbles~?" Clearly messing with me I reply with
-"Well then Jackass, I work at the engineering team, how about you?" Gaius showed a bit of a disappointed face while saying.
-"I work at with the tech team, I guess were rivals. Welp, see ya Bubbles I'm going to my side of the school, bye~." Gaius was winking an eye at me while walking away to his side of the school. 'God, why does he need to be like this?' I mentally say while mentally slapping my face while walking to the Shepperd's.
"(Y/N)!!!" I hear Lissa yelling at me and running to me to give me a hug.
-"Welcome back (y/n)." I hear Chrom say and the rest of the crew saying hello and welcome back.
-"Hey can I ask what was with the bickering earlier? And are we rivals with the tech team?" I ask the group
-"Yeah for as long as we been here yeah both teams are rivals. And the bickering is well, we we're trying to figure out what to do next as our challenge this year." Frederick responding to my question
-"And what is the challenge this year?"
-"Trying to get more new recruits then last year and getting the highest scores on this years tests." Stahl telling me
-" Well then is there a prize at then end if we win?" I say
-"Yes, usually you get like a celebration party with the whole group and you get to choose the punishment for the loser team, with the whole group of course." Chrom was saying. 'So we really want to win then, huh? But how do we add more people to join here and convince them to join our division?' thoughts and questions keep popping in my head thinking a way to win with everyone. Then the bell rang and that meant class was going to start in 15 minutes. We all rush and fumble to get to our classes in time so we can know what to study to get good grades to win against the tech team 'here we go, my new school life in this university! lets go!' I thought.
~{Time skippppp!}~
After a long time taking notes of long boring lectures, I went to the public library to study and do my homework. But I was stuck 'Dang it! This makes no sense! The teacher didn't speak of this in class! At this rate I'll be held back and fail everyone at the challenge!' I thought and apparently my frustration was visible cause Jack- *clears throat* I mean Gaius came and said
-"Having a little trouble Bubbles~ need help from prince charming, moi~?" Gaius says being a goof and a dork at the same time while eating I presume another lollypop in his mouth. I giggle at his actions
-"Yes, some help would be nice. But how would you know how to help me when you are in tech?" I ask clearly confused, but Gaius just chuckles and reply's
- "I ain't just a pretty face you know? My uncle was an engineer and taught me many things, we were pretty close too."
-" then why aren't you in engineer instead?" I ask
-"Well my parent's wanted me to be in tech instead so here we are. So enough about me, let's see what's troubling my Bubbles here." I blush at his comment
-"Your Bubbles*? Hmmm, I don't think so buddy, but anyhow I'm stuck on this question here, the teacher never said anything about this." Gaius made a 'hmmmmm' sound until
-"I know this so I can help!" * (y/n) happy noise's*
-"Thank you so much this means a lot!" I say as I squeal in joy "Well don't thank me yet Bubbles."
~{Time skip again!}~
Gaius helped me with my homework and helping me understand what I was supposed to do.
-"Hey Gaius, you have a great knowledge of engineering, it would be great to have you in our team instead." I say as Gaius was just thinking
-"Well I mean it makes sense but then again my parents. But I'll give it some thought Bubbles." Gaius just said that with a smile and this time it was all genuine not the flirty smile or the joking smile, a genuine one, it was nice to see and it went really well with his looks 'dammmm' I thought until...
"Hey Bubbles~ you're staring into space, are you finally falling for me?" nope never mind I mean his usual smiles are nice but the one before felt more real, but right now I have to deal with this oaf
-"No. But thank you for the help it helped a lot. But now I must take my part and leave so goodbye Knucklehead" I say and wink while leaving the library. 'Knucklehead? Really? Heh, well this one is fun to be with for sure.' Gaius thought.
