I got home then threw my bag down "Home!" it was answered with a quiet "okay!" Pluto made their way to the living room sitting down on the couch "Maddie's getting ready she's gonna go watch one of her friends play music at a bar" "of course, she is" Pluto giggled as I walked up the stairs. I knock on Maddie's door then she answered it after two knock's "hey where you going?" "oh I'm going to hear the band Wilbur's in play wanna come with I got two free tickets but I don't know who to bring" she didn't look up from her mirror but I knew she was grinning "yeah let me get ready" "thirty minutes" I chuckled and left. I fixed up my makeup that had smudged throughout the day. "You ready to go shorty?" Shorty was a nickname they gave me because Maddie was 6'6 and Pluto was 6'4 I was 5'11 "yep let's go" she took my hand as I took hers we said bye to Pluto and we got in her car.

After a little while of talking and screaming the lyrics to arctic monkeys we were there. "You excited to see Will?" Maddie teased me about liking Wilbur but she wasn't wrong about it I just didn't want to tell her "shut up I talked to him earlier he asked me if I like anteaters it was weird" she laughed a little before opening the door for me "madam" she joked as she led me through the door and the crowd "we're in the third row don't let me forget that" I nodded my head. Shortly after we found our seats Wilbur and the rest of the band he was in appeared on the stage. I could tell his eyes were scanning the crowd looking for someone before his eyes rested on me. I waved and smiled he returned the favor.

After hearing all of love joys songs and two glasses of wine and one shot Wilbur made his way over to me. "What are you doing here?" "Thought you'd be more excited then that but Maddie invited me but I can go" I got up out of my seat and he grabbed my wrists "no no sorry I'm glad you're here" I looked back at him and we locked eyes his eyes are so pretty I'm falling I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone rang "I've got to take this" I walked over to a corner answering it not bothering to look at the contact number. "Hello?" "Y/n! Hi glad I could get ahold of you it's me Mark from college I'm visiting Brighton for the next two weeks I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out?" Mark was a close friend in college but then he started partying a lot so I stayed away from him "hi Mark I would love to hang out how have you been?" "Oh good better now that I've talked to you" he always flirted with me but I never had feeling for him "oh well I've got to go I'm with some friends" "oh ok who?" He also acted like my boyfriend sometimes but I ignored it "oh just some of Maddie's friends" "boys?" "Yeah" I heard the anger start to rise in his voice "but still have to got bye see you Saturday!" He said okay then I hung up. He was controlling but I ignored it usually but I want to give him another chance. "Old friend he's visiting sorry about that" Wilbur nodded and patted the seat next to him I sat down as he placed his arm around me "real smooth idiot" he laughed and lightly punched me arm so I did it back and it just turned into a laughing fit. "You wanna come back to the my apartment I can fix some real food and I need to get Maddie back" he nodded and said okay as I walked over to get Maddie I saw her kissing some random man she was drunk "okay come on were going home" she turned to me looked at me before kissing me too, I pushed her away and she frowned "dude no I'm you're best friend let's just go home" I looked back at a jealous looking Wilbur "someone's jealous aren't they?" He looked at me shocked "n-no" "what want a taste too?" "Shut up" I liked making him flustered it was funny and when he was flustered I laughed at him "your face I can't" he started blushing

We made it back to the apartment and I put Maddie to bed and Pluto was at their friends house so it really was just me and Wilbur. "So what do you prefer to be called Wilbur or Will?" He looked up from the pan and his eyes darted to me sitting on the counter looking at a box of noodles "whatever you want to but just think if you start calling me Will I'll start calling you shorty" I giggled a little "Will what the fuck" "it's true shorty" I laughed and looked up locking eyes with him. "Ya know you have pretty eyes" he started turning red and I felt my cheeks get hot "t-thanks yours too" we had a good rest of the night talking, mostly laughing, and we even cuddled at one point

So we're getting longer chapters people I'm happy but only chapter today cause I'm bout to fall asleep so hopefully a chapter tomorrow too but I have school so hopefully this weekend I'll get at least two chapters done but yeah have a goodnight or good day
