We got off the train now in Nottingham. "We're meeting Tommy and Toby at the park" I nodded my head then looked down to see Wilbur trying to get the courage to hold my hand. I took a deep breath then interlocked our fingers together

We walked in comfortable silence for quite some time. Finally, we made small talk but then it went back to silence. It wasn't awkward though, it was more normal to me. I didn't want to seem dry so I tried to strike up a conversation but it didn't seem to last long. Wilbur had his face in his phone so I didn't even bother after that

"Hey Will we're here," I said poking him. "Oh uh yeah" he finally looked up from his phone and took his hand away from mine

"WOMAN!" I heard Tommy scream "TOMMY!" I shouted back and we flung each other into the others arms

Me and Tommy had talked a lot while I worked. He was like a little brother to me and toby was too. Once I saw Toby I hugged him tightly. Wilbur followed behind me he's acting weird

"Hey Will can I talk to you alone?" he nodded and we walked over to a spot in the grass. "So you gonna tell me why you're acting weird?" he looked up and sniffled "do you have to know?" I nodded and he sniffled once more "I can't do this, the whole flirting thing y/n I'm going to end up hurting you I can't do that" that brought tears to my eyes but I fought them back. "Will I can't either I'll end up hurting someone I can't do this I think it's best if we are just friends no more flirting" I was crying at this point I loved this man and here I am saying "let's just be friends" he nodded and we hugged then went back to the others

"Were back sorry about that" It's almost like Toby could sense I was sad and he hugged me. I calmed myself down and we started filming

After the filming, we went to a cafe and then it was time for "see you later"s I hugged both Tommy and toby then got on the train with Wilbur

"I think we need to talk" he looked over and nodded his head "so obviously we can't date we would hurt each other and we can't flirt because we'll end up falling for each other although I already did," I said the last part quietly but enough were he could hear it. Jesus y/n you just told him that "we're just friends" and here you are confessing your fucking feelings

"What?" I looked back up at him "you heard me" We got off the train and started walking. He took me back to the flat and when we entered the door he moved a little closer to me "friends can't flirt or date but can friends do this" he smiled a little then leaned in and I hummed answering his question as I knew what was about to happen. Our lips crash together

It was like a million fireworks exploded in me and I quickly kissed him back. His lips were soft but also rough and chapped. He had to lean over to kiss me and I was on my tippy toes. I was burning red from the blush. He was too

"Yes yes they can," I said leaning in to kiss him again but he pushed me off "y/n I'm so sorry I- I don't know what came over me I can't do this" and with that, he shut the door and ran off

I went upstairs and cried for a little before going to Pluto's room. "Hey what's wrong you're crying" they hugged me and I cried harder into their shoulder "me and Wilbur decided it is best if we stay friends and then when we got back he told me that 'friends can't flirt or date but can friends do this?' And he leaned in and kissed me I kissed him back then he fucking shut the door in my face without even explaining what just happened" Pluto hugged me tighter and rubbed my back before we cuddled up on their bed and we laid there for a while. "I think I'm gonna kill Wilbur" I laughed at them and hugged them tightly. "I think he just got scared I'll call him later

We both fell asleep and after some time Maddie joined us and I told her what happened. "Okay, I've got to get up what do you guys want for dinner?" Pluto said they wanted spaghetti and Maddie said that was fine so to the store for me.

I walked to the store and got pasta sauce, noodles, and meat. I also got some chocolate and cake mix because why not. I checked out and went to a gas station to get me a monster and Pluto Red Bull and Maddie a nitro cold brew

I walked back home listening to music suddenly Romeo & Juliet by Peter McPoland came on. It reminded me of Wilbur so I skipped it but then Cloud Nine by Beach Bunny came on it also reminded me of Wilbur but I just gave up because the next song was Sex Sells by Lovejoy this man, I can't get away from him

Finally, I gave in and called him "hey," I said taking a deep breath. "Y/n I'm so sorry about what happened today I feel so stupid I got scared and didn't know what to do" I took one more deep breath before saying "it's fine Will just kind of want an explanation" he explained to me that he had feelings for me too but he didn't want to hurt me "Will I think it's best if we just go back to normal and see where that takes us since we both know we can't hurt each other now," he said yeah and before I hung up I said "I love you Will" "I love you too, love" the nickname was back I smiled and hung up

I got back to the flat and started making food for us
