ELLE
There You Are-ZAYN

I was overly excited from the second I boarded the plane back to him. This was it. This was the day I'd be moving in with Niall, which was crazy to think about. I was nervous, because this was going to be something completely new to me. But I couldn't wait to start this new chapter with him. My stomach was in knots as I walked out of the departures, pushing a trolley with my luggage piled onto it. I had definitely packed too much for the two weeks I'd be spending here, but I decided it was better if I just brought everything I'd need at once and just use a small carry on with the bare necessities whenever I'd go back to London. I had left plenty of clothes there too, which should have me covered.

Managing to spot him in the crowd of people waiting proved to be a bit more difficult than I anticipated, but my heart definitely stopped for a second when I did. There, amongst the dozens of people waiting, a bright, eye crinkling smile caught my attention. Raising his arm to make sure I saw him, he waved from the distance. I pushed my trolley towards the man in the blue hat, feeling giddy and excited. He started walking towards me, closing the distance quicker. With open arms, he finally reached me and I abandoned the trolley, throwing myself into his embrace.

"There you are." He sighed into my neck, keeping me close to his chest. I couldn't explain the relief I felt at that moment. It still felt like a dream, like I wasn't actually here. And I doubt I'd be able to wrap my head around what was happening for a while.

"Missed you baby." I whispered next to his ear, his breath hitting my skin as he chuckled. He pulled back, his hands resting on my waist as he smiled down at me.

"Missed you too darling. Even if it's only been a week." He leaned in, landing a soft kiss on my lips that instantly had me melt into him. His soft lips pressed against mine for barely even a second before he was pulling away. I was glad it had hardly been a week since I was here last. My boss was quick to accept my request of working from home, saying that there were few things I'd be required to be present for and could be arranged accordingly. He did warn me he'd legally have to decrease my salary by 20%, but that was something I was both aware and okay with, a sacrifice I was willing to take so I agreed on the new terms. Thankfully, I was able to return a lot quicker than both Niall and I had originally expected.

"Let's go home." The words he spoke had me in awe, my heart thumping. He smiled before releasing his grip, taking ahold of the trolley with my luggage to push it for me. I walked on his side towards the exit of the airport flabbergasted, because I couldn't quite believe we now had a home together, a place that we'd officially share and live with eachother. I hoped I'd get to share a home with him for years to come.

Making our way out of the airport and to the bustling car park, we walked by rows of cars to his white Range Rover. We filled the spacious boot with all my luggage, which thankfully fit with no problem. His flat wasn't far, but nothing really was since it was located so close to the heart of the city. Ten storeys above the ground, the view from his small balcony was definitely one to admire. It was just an added bonus that the sun always set from it.

"You do the honours." Niall winked once we were at his front door, momentary confusion overtaking me and appearing on my face before I realised what his words meant. With a smile on my face I was certain I had since I saw him at the airport, I pulled my key out of my purse to unlock his door, pushing it open to reveal the place I could now call home. We carried my luggage inside, setting it by the door for now before getting rid of our shoes, jackets and scarves. Decembers in Dublin were definitely colder than in London. I was internally glad I had mostly packed my winter clothes to take with me. We both fell into the couch, reveling in our new found comfort from the other's company.
