Jace isn't that much of a mean guy or evil. Actually for someone people would consider a spoiled brat, he's actually nice and has a soft heart. The only bad thing about him is that he's quite closed-minded to what people who aren't rich go through, he's simply never thought about those of the lower class and their struggles. He never means to hurt anyone with his comments, he just needs to learn more about the real world. He has a reputation to maintain, so if that means being mean to keep it up in front of everyone then he will. He has no problem doing that. He can make stupid mistakes, he's a teenager, they all do. He doesn't like being told what to do, it makes it difficult to get what you want from him. He doesn't appreciate people trying to use him, he will get his revenge.
