Chapter 04: Upgrade

Two months have passed and I have completed all the monthly quests that were given to me. After I formed my mana core, I got Aether core as a reward and it merged with my mana core to form the so-called 'blood core'. Now I can use both mana and aether. It wasn't hard to walk after augmenting myself but the real test was to see the outside world. As I was able to walk easily after augmenting my body with mana. However, It seems like I can't use any mana or aether arts yet. I have pondered my mother regularly by waving towards the window so that she would take me outside. And finally after 2 months today, she was carrying me while walking on the lawn.

I glanced at the familiar but forgotten surroundings. The images of ruined Ashber flooded my mind and I tried to shake them off as I hear the familiar sound.

As usual, my physical stats didn't increase except the hp which I predicted was the result of me getting the Blood Core. Also, the exp, which I assume I got from daily missions, never had any goal instead it always showed a question mark.

-Host can see the ambient aether and mana particles and can feel or alter them.

[Regeneration Lv5 ]-new

-The host can regenerate from 5-degree body damage. This skill is upgradable

[Lv-6-7-8-9-10] each level cost 20 sp

[Overdrive]-new

-Host can increase all of his stats by 10 times for 30 minutes after the given time is over host's stats will be temporarily decreased.

[Sharingan 1 tomoe]-new

-The eyes of the Uchiha Clan. The Sharingan is an ability that allows the host to copy, by mere sight, his opponents' techniques while gaining incredible reflexes and perceptive abilities.

It is upgradable.

Each upgrade requires 100 sp or it can evolve with intense training or when the host experiences emotional trauma.

After reading all the list I was stunned because all of these skills were top-notch, they were just like some cheat in a videogame. If used correctly it can be my greatest power.......

Almost 3 years have been passed. I have been doing the daily tasks every day since then.

After the 3 monthly quests, no more new quests appeared till now except for the daily ones and it is the same for today as well. I have been gaining exp from the daily tasks and I noticed that the exp I gain differs every month or so.

I have also been refining my aether core and mana core and every time I breakthrough a new stage I get some exp and sp points. Also, I have been planning everything for the future. Everything needs to be precise. I have planned quite a few plans to get my parents to travel to Xyrus City When the time arrives. I have faked my awakening a few months back by using an elemental spell as an explosion.

'Hmmm....... I haven't drunk the water for today's quest. Let's do that first, I thought and walked up to an earthen pot and took a glass of water from it and drank it.

My physical stats have grown somewhat which I guess was due to my age growth. But Still, there was no way for me to measure it. How much value do these numbers hold, I have no way to tell. The only thing I can do is make the assumption

With that my head spun and I started to feel dizzy and soon I collapsed .But before collapsing I think I heard Something , it faint but I was able to recognize what sound it was . It was a woman's voice and she was chuckling and somehow I felt like she was .........she was laughing at me .
