I've been fighting Setrakus Ra, but I'm really taking a beating. He's become even more powerful than I thought. The black liquid has stopped, finally, and I'm able to increase the severity of his injuries.
He throws me around like I'm nothing, but I keep getting back up. I burn him with my fire Legacy, and turn him to stone with my Medusa one. He breaks free of it somehow, but this time I put a layer of ice around him.
"John!" Lucy screams. She makes arrows out of water, shooting them at Setrakus. He falls backwards, and I finish him off, taking my dagger and stabbing it right through his chest.
He starts to disintegrate, and I know I've killed him. I fall onto my back, and close my eyes. Even if I die, I know we just won.
MADDIE'S POV:
All of us run over to John, and Lucy tells us he hasn't got much time left. Marina and I work together to heal him, and we all get back up to the Anubis
"Thank you guys for saving my ass," John laughs. "Guys, we won the war!" Marina exclaims. "not yet, Sam, blow up the base." John instructs.
Sam pushes the button, the base blows up, and we fly away. "Wait, where's dust?" Adam asks. "Adam, I'm sorry, when I went to heal you, he was already gone..." I announce.
He holds back his tears, covering his mouth. "It's okay." He whispers. I go over and hug him. "Wait, you can heal people?" Asks Nine. "I have Ximic, like John." I secondly announce.
"I have something to say, too." Six says. "I saw Maddie and Adam kiss!" "Six!" I snap "OOOOOOOO!!!!" Lucy says, with a grin on her face. "I knew it would happen."
Adam and I laugh, embarrassed. "Awww... that's cute." Marina and John say. Everyone seems to agree, which is embarrassing.
Nine flirts profusely with Lucy, and I say "Looks like you two aren't far behind.." She shoots me a glare, and then laughs. she takes us all by suprise, by kissing him.
The rest of the flight is uninteresting.
