Elena pov

the next day i woke up with a headache and after taking a shower i went downstairs where everyone was there.

"good morning Lena. how are you feeling.?" mason asked as i sat on the chair with my head on the table.

"what's wrong love.?" alex asked as he was sitting beside me.

"nothing just tired a little." i said as i lied. i didn't want them to worry.

"okay." i heard alex say.

we all had breakfast and were sitting in the living room.

My head was starting to ache more and more by the end of the week. Maybe it was the constant breakdowns I had, or that my mind was in a constant battle with itself, but I just didn't know.

The week wasn't the greatest. I knew it wasn't anything but great. It was hard, filled with tears that I hadn't yet shed and grieving pain that was stuck in my heart.

I was now in the living room watching TV seated on the cream-coloured couch with Alex and Dylan.

They were watching some sports channel, and I was bored hearing people cheer and goals being constantly scored, but I didn't really have much else to do.

I didn't have a phone, nor an iPad, so my mind was just left to wonder.

"Hey, hun, games almost over if you want to watch something else?" Dylan said.

I just shook my head. "I-It's okay. You can watch anything." I couldn't help but sigh.

I felt slightly hot. No blanket was draped over me, and I was dressed in pyjama shorts and a short sleeve top, but my head was just bothering me.

"You sure?"

I nodded my head again, but only this time shutting my eyes resting the side of my head on the arm of the couch feeling the coolness of it somewhat settled on me.

The couch was just so comfy I couldn't resist to settle more in it, resting my body. My hands were pieced together as my body was turned resting near my head.

I knew my body was just ready to fall asleep knowing how soft I felt.

But before I knew it, there was a blanket being draped over my body, just heating my body up more riling my temperature.

"Too hot," I whined, moving my legs trying to desperately get the blanket off of me.

"You looked cold," I heard Alex say. "What's the matter?"

I just shook my head again wanting nothing but to sleep in this godsend chair that felt like nothing but clouds right at this moment.

"Elena?" Dylan said.

"Mmm?" I couldn't help but mumble, it felt like my mind was slowly pulling itself to sleep, despite the heavy heat that confided in my body.

"Are you alright?"

Once more, I nodded my head not saying a word.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. My body lightley moved at the touch. It was cold, and made me shiver despite the desperate felt need of the cold touch.

"You're burning."

I sighed again, not wanting to speak. I was burning. My shirt felt sticky and my mind felt like a blaze of fire. All I wanted to do was rest, but the burning in my head didn't let me.

"Dylan could you go get the medicine. Upper cabinet. I got her." I heard footsteps then leaving the room leaving me alone with Alex.

"I'm okay," I mumbled tiredly. "Just a little bit hot."
