It had been a day since BlueStreak and Jim met, The two of them had been getting along really well established a system of communication and rules for streak and Jim to follow: rule number one was that they would have to both agree on something before going through with it, rule number two and stay away from loud sound and fire that was a rule at streak came up with because of his weakness to fire and sound, rule three help each other out no matter what.
The two now body roommates agreed to the rules and made a promise not to break them. Since it was the weekend Jim was at home doing his chores while his mother was working at the hospital under normal circumstances it would've taken him the whole day to do everything on the List of things to do but thanks to streak he managed to get it done in just two hours
Jim eating a bar of chocolate: i've never been done this quickly with my chores before thanks streak
Streak appeared as a head beside him: no problem, but what do we do now
Jim thought about it for a moment it has been so long since he's hang out with someone he didn't know what to do: I don't know what are your people do with their friends
Streak: my people don't believe in the aspect of friendship well except for venom but no one hangs out with venom he's a bit of an ass
Jim was intrigued by this for a species that literally depends on something else to live but I'm not to understand friendship that seemed a bit peculiar to the human: wait if you guys need another creature to live off of why don't you guys believe in friendship
Streak explained: well most of my people like to dominate their host completely take over so to speak.
Jim Raising an eyebrow: so you could take over my body at any time?
Streak shook his head: no I am not strong enough to do so you have nothing to worry about from me, it's just the strongest symbiote rule over us and they can take over their host completely so you can imagine how intimidating that can be
Jim began to understand: oh I get it you guys are pressured into doing what they say because they're stronger than you sounds like your people I like bullies in high school
Streak: yeah if the bullies of your world eat you if you don't do it they say
Jim realised something: wait hold on you don't think any of other symbiote are going to come to earth
Streak was unsure: possibly I haven't seen any of them in thousands of years I separated from them about 2.4 billion years ago in space
Jim remember him telling him that when they first met: okay but what happens if they do come to earth
Streak explained the usual symbiote plan: Well first you'd find hosts that were able to hold us then they would try to find a way to get the other symbiote on this planet and then we would feed upon humanity and all the life on Earth until it was lifeless now you understand why I left I enjoy going to different planets and seeing the beauty of each and everyone of them however to my people when they see another planet they just see dinner
With that horrible image in Jim's head he came up with a way to enjoy his time with his new friend, he finishes off the chocolate bar and get off the sofa: okay if you wanna see the beauty of her why don't I show you around town
Streak was confused: But why bother I've seen everything through your memories why are you showing me things I've already seen
Jim put on his bicycle helmet: because experiencing something is a lot better than just seeing it, come on hanging out is what friends do
