Jim's point of view
Today would be a weekend but because of my Trollhunter duties and my apprenticeship starts a city council So I'm pretty jampacked. I tell Mum about the internship and she's happy that I'm trying something new and something that will help with my future just tells me not to overload myself and to be careful.
Me and streak arrive at troll market for a quick meeting with the others, we meet up in Blinkys library to talk about any information that we found while Aaarrrggghhh guards on the door
Blinky: we've looked into every single teacher and student you deemed as suspicious master Jim but we have still no such luck in finding this leader
Nari having more bad news: yeah, I mean I agree with the fact that they might be in the school because all evidence regardless of what the spy say is pointing to that is but either we are wrong about this or they're just really good at covering their tracks I mean the only teacher that's actually left Arcadia is your headmaster but he doesn't seem like the mastermind type and he's gone into separate countries where the Janice order hasn't even done anything yet
Streak popped out of my shoulder: Great so if he didn't, maybe we should try looking for the bridge or better yet bular
It doesn't sound like a terrible idea if we can't find a leader then maybe if we find a bridge we find him or at the very least bular. Well we know where the bridge is it in the museum thanks to Namora but if we try anything is to get into the museum both in public or not and we get caught or instantly put suspicion on the Namora and will lose the only real connection to the Janice order that we have has to be something else we can do something too-
A master plan started forming in my head, I decide to tell the others: alright let's put a pin in finding out the leaders identity for now, Blinky you said that all the pieces of killer head bridge have to be in place for it to be opened again
Blinky nodded: that is correct master Jim what is your plan?
I continue to explain: well let's see what if my spy manages to cut off just tiny piece of the bridge just enough so it wouldn't be complete but no one would notice would that buy us more time?
Blinky thought about it for a moment: I suppose it's possible master Jim, our assassin spy will only need a small enchanted knife to break off a piece of the indestructible bridge and if one piece is missing the bridge cannot be opened so it would be a relief to know that we have at least stopped the apocalypse for now
Well I'm sold on going through that plan I just need to let Namora know what to do and tell her to be careful, now the real question is what are we going to do about the leader. There has to be something they've missed something that they are couldn't hide from they can't go through centuries of history without leaving some sort of footprint has to be some kind of trail something that... wait not Enrique said that the leader was one of the founding members of the town there is a picture of them when they arrived in Town for the first time if he was one of the founding members it's gonna be a picture of him
Streak reads my mind and tells the others: not Enrique said that the leader was one of the founding members of Arcadia so we look into the image of all the founding members in and look and see if there are any resemblances to anyone we know in this time period not only that we look into the ones that mysteriously disappeared and we would've had our man/changeling
Nari: that does seem like it's our only option to find leader what about bular he's still out there and we have had no sign of him since you cut out his eye
I have a feeling that I'll be seeing him soon, my times up if I want to go meet with Namora to tell her the mission. Me and streak say goodbye to the others and walk out of troll market
Later in a CAFE
Inside the CAFE I see Namora sitting in one of the benched seats with the cushions I take the seat behind her to make it look like we're not interacting to the public
Namora pretending to speak on the phone: what is your bidding my master?
Well for starters you can stop with the dark Vader routine, but there's no time to explain that to her: alright I've got a mission for you your job is to take a small piece of the bridge like you said cut it off from piece of the bridge it's already been built it will lower suspicion can you do that
Namora quietly responded: of course master your wheel will be done, but I should let you know that the leader has asked that I keep a closer eye on you apparently I'm supposed to tutor you in history of one lesson you find difficult he's instructed me to seduce you I think
Well that's nice of the leader let me get laid before he tries to kill me: okay but how exactly are we gonna make this happen are you going to have to approach me
Namora: i'm sure the leader said he would sort it all out how do you wish me to proceed?
Streak comes out in a smallest possible form he could and whispers into our spies ear: what is your position now in the Janice order are they beginning to trust you more?
Namora: absolutely, although bular has his suspicions of me but the leader seems to trust me completely however we are talking about the master of deception so I cannot be completely sure regardless I'm being let into the full plan of the killer head bridge now supposedly it needs the amulet to open the bridge so if you stay away from the bridge and keep the amulet away there is no way they can open it
Well that's good to know but still it would be nice to have a backup plan: anything else to report?
Namora: Nothing much except for the fact that they've been able to communicate with the gum gum King do not worry it is only a temporary communication and he cannot get into the world yet but I thought you should know
I smirk: thanks for the information, be careful with your mission and make sure no one suspects you. If you cannot complete the mission that is fine do not take an unnecessary risk understand?
Namora: yes Master
After a few minutes I leave the CAFE and now I must head to my internship with the council woman
