Aurora's Pov

I walk up to a faint buzzing noise. Slowly I open my eyes and look around the room it's a small narrow room with a queen bed and a little dresser. The bed has very soft blankets and sheets.

The pillows are light and fluffy. I look around some more trying to figure where I am. I hear some foot steps coming closer and I back up into the bed.

The door opens and the man that was in the car comes inside. I look at him scared and whimper into the blanket. I start to remember what happened before this how I was in the store and then one of the men grabbed me and rocked me before giving some pain meds then I fell asleep.

"Hi sweetie my name's Lorenzo. Your safe. Your foster parents, the Smith's, are in jail for all the stuff they did. Don't worry your ok now." He said softly as he sat on the end of the bed looking at me.

"W-what d-do you w-want from m-me?" I ask quietly getting scared and squeezing the blanket but then I notice my hand is in a cast. I also notice my leg is wrapped in something as well.

"Shh. You don't need to be scared I'm not going to hurt you. I took you to the hospital so they could help you. You have a broken wrist and bruised knee but there healing quickly with the cast on. " Lorenzo said and then I heard the door open slightly.

"Is she awake dad?" Asked a voice as the door opened more. I covered myself in the blanket hiding from whoever was at the door.

I felt the bed dip some more and I squeaked. The blanket that was covering slowly got pulled down. I say a younger man next to Lorenzo. He had blue eyes but a lighter brown hair color. He was tall and had lots of muscles.

I sat there confused who this was. I pulled the blanket closer to me and wrapped myself in it.

"Hi I'm Gabriel. I'm Lorenzo's youngest son." He says with a smile. I nod and his smile gets bigger and he moves closer to me and is now leaning against the headboard and moved the blanket that was around me and he moved me so I was now in his lap cradled by his arms.

I looked at him confused but felt his body heat and moved closer to him and snuggled into his chest enjoying the warmth he gave.

I heard Lorenzo chuckle a little but I was really tired and slowly fell asleep on Gabriel.

Lorenzo's Pov

I watch as she snuggled into Gabriel and he smiled. Soon she's asleep again and Gabriel is brushing her hair.

"I'm surprised she let you hold her. She wouldn't let me get any closer than this." I said confused and looked at Gabriel who was smirking.

"We'll if you looked less intimidating then she probably would've been more open and welcoming."

"We'll that does make sense speaking that other than her you are the least intimidating person." I say smiling and he looks at me angrily.

I chuckle a little and her a soft knock on the door before it opens to reveal Alessandro.

"Well just be happy it wasn't Alessandro who came in he's probably the most intimidating one. Even more than you dad!" Gabriel laughed carefully so he would wake Aurora.

I glared at him and he stopped wide eyed.

"What are you talking about and why is Aurora on you?" Alessandro asked. Gabriel smiled and said.

"Well I came in while they were talking and introduced myself and she let me hold her. After a few minutes she snuggled more into my chest and fell asleep.

Then Dad was asking why she let me hold her and wouldn't let dad come closer. Which I then said that she wouldn't let him come closer because he was intimidating which I then said that your more intimidating than dad." I chuckled a little because Gabriel was a little out of breath.

He hasn't talked that much in years. Alessandro smiled and sat down by me. Before Aurora woke up I told the boys not to tell her that they were family because I didn't want to overwhelm her.

The boys agreed but we're a little sad. But she's started to get used to Gabriel so I think they should introduce themselves in age because the older they are the more intimidating they look.

I look at Alessandro and I think he knows what I'm thinking because he looks a little sad.

"I think you should introduce in age because the older you are the more intimidating you are." I said and watched Alessandro as he nodded and walked out.
