#11 Is

Aurora Pov

When breakfast was over Bubby showed me around the mansion. My room was across from Daddy's and then the rest of them had rooms next to mine. My room was painted pink and had lots of pretty clothes in the closet. My bed was a pink fitted queen sized bed with posts and sheer curtains.

The furniture in my room was painted white which matched the pillows on my bed. The floor was a light wood and my window out looked the large garden in the back yard.

"Bubby it's beautiful!" I say run to the bathroom but before I could get there I stubbed my toe on the door frame. I fall down crying as I cradling my stubbed toe. Bubby runs over and moves me to his lap as he strokes my head whispering kind words.

"It's ok Bambina. Only a stub you'll be ok. I got you.," Bubby says but I continue to cry,

"bambina's Hurt!" Bubby yells after cover my ears. Then I hear a stampede of people coming to my room. Bubba gets there first picking me up from Bubby. I'm still whimpering as the rest come. Daddy was the last one to come.

"What happened!" Daddy asked Bubby who was sitting on the ground where I was laying previously.

Alessandro's (Bubba) Pov

When dad got to bambinas room he asked what happened. I was sitting on the bed cradling the whimpering Bambina who was clutching onto my shirt.

"I was showing her around her room when she darted towards her bathroom but her toe got caught on the door frame and she stubbed it. Then she fell and started crying and I picked her up and cradled her before calling you all to help."

Alfonso says before joining Bambina and me on the bed. Bambinas cries slowly turned into whimpers which then turned into soft snores. I carefully laid her onto her new bed and we all left the room.

John's Pov

It's been about 3 days since April and I have seen Aurora. April and I have been sober for 2 days and now we have to call the boss.

When Aurora was 6 boss made us adopt her because he wanted to punish her to hurt her father. He's been here a few times and helped with the beatings but he doesn't come often.

He said that she better not leave our sight and that we should lock her in the basement but I had the idea of making her make us food and go to school because the foster system would get suspicious if she didn't go to a public school and if she was homeschooled the foster system would check in on us more.

I'm scared that boss will cut April and my drugs off because we lost the girl but it wasn't our fault she ran away early in the morning. After a few minutes I build the courage to call him and then after a few rings he answers.

Unknowns pov

I answer my phone after it rings a few times not checking the caller id

"Speak."

"Hello boss it John um we have an issue." He pauses for a bit making me angry.

"Speak! What issue could you possibly have. You watch the girl and I supply you with drugs. What possibly could be an issue?" I say talking aloud we each time.

"Well. The girl ran away 3 days ago and April and I haven't been able to find her and um we've been searching all over town and nobodies seen her. Also the police came and tried to arrest us but ended up arresting the wrong people. And um we ran out of drugs." All I saw was red. 

That idiot lost my leverage against the Bernardi's. I hang up and call my second in command.

"Find Aurora Bernardi and get her back here as soon as possible." I say then hang up and drink my vodka straight from the bottle. Aurora thinks she can run away from me but just wait life will be so much worse when you come back home.

I got a nice basement cell with her name on it.
