Ever since you, jack, miko, and raf first met the Autobots, ratchet shuts everyone out due to his depression (most likely his mom was killed for (pick a reason)). He has been in his room for days until everyone is forced evacuate from the old base when the decepticons discovered where the Autobots are hiding.
You: ratchet, when will I see you again?
Ratchet was all alone in the junkyard until one night, he saw jazz, his brother, when he got called to help.
Jazz: ratchet?
Ratchet; jazz?! But you were dead during the war!
Jazz: I had escaped to keep my spark alive. *noticed ratchets tears* what's wrong?
Ratchet just bawled loudly when jazz hugged his little brother comforting him.
