Oriane's Pov
It shouldn't have bugged me so, why did I care about such a dumb nickname bouncing from men to men. Yeah it was a harsh nickname to call me the useless fourth wife, but I didn't feel useless.

I mean what I did was important, right...? Just because I wasn't trained to fight like Suma, Hina and Makio didn't mean I wasn't any less of a woman. But no matter how much I tried to reassure myself that I was fine the way I was.

I wasn't and maybe that's why deep down I wasn't fully happy, I kept comparing myself and pitting myself when I could change it, I just have to talk to the others about it. I must had been pretending to sleep for a good few hours staring at the flickering candle dance across the wall, before I felt soft small arms secure around my waist feeling her laying there with me.

"Hey Makio." I whispered gently hearing a soft quiet chuckle leave her softly feeling, that she was moving one hand to play with my hair sweetly.

"Hey there little orange... What's the matter? Suma says you made dinner and didn't eat and came to sleep. You know you can speak to any of us." I smiled faintly nodding my head a couple times bringing my hand up to wipe at my cheeks harshly taking a shaky breath in.

"No, no Oriane what's the matter." She whispered urgently. I felt her soft hands cupping at my cheeks making me look at her. I exhaled shaky like before speaking to her.

"Makio am I useless?" She seemed very taken back by my shaky tone, a small scoff leaving her as she shook her head no roughly.

"No? Not at all Oriane, I think you do your best with what you are good at, and that's what we all do really. Is it about what those guys were muttering last week? They have no right to speak. I don't think being able to tend a garden, shop, clean, sew and get meals down all done in less then three hours counts as useless my dear." A soft laugh left me with her exhaling a bit.

"But.. I can see how your thoughts might be eating you up, so how can I help you?" I fluttered my eyes a couple times, before I found myself speaking gently feeling her hands had moved away from my hair to stroke at my cheeks a couple times.

"I want... To help people like fighting I don't wanna be a demon slayer like Tengen but more so I wanna be a fighter like you guys are, I wanna train and I wanna be awesome." A soft chuckle left the female who was studying me focused like a giggle leaving her before she kissed at my temple.

"Any sort of training can be very deadly Oriane but I believe I can train you, while Suma, Hina and Tengen train the others, but if it's what you want I'll help." I found my arms securing around her fully hugging her as much as I could.

"Thank you Makio." She nuzzled her own head all over my own a few short times.

"You never have to thank me, it will be okay." I was able to take a breather in once all that heavy was off my chest.

"I'll support any decision you make Oriane, as long as you keep this promise." I was startled by the new voice speaking both me and Makio breaking away from the hug to focus on Tengen who leaned against the door frame with a very stern and serious expression on his face Suma was peeking around his large form, Hina also doing the same thing.

I sat up with a hard grunt placing my hands over my face for a moment but I stood up off the floor, helping Makio up as well.

"Of course what's the promise?" I asked in a soft like tone he waved me over with his fingers for a small second, I wiped at my cheeks even more but I watched as he dropped both hands to grab my own hands, his soft fingers tracing at the ring across my ring finger a gentle smile growing on his face as he spoke to me.

"No matter what you do, we all will support you, whether that means you wanna stay home like you have been doing. Or even going out and trying to get yourself killed." I choked quietly in a soft laugh that escaped from me so fast gazing at him to hide the little tears that wanted to leave.

"Your safety is always what is gonna matter most to us, as well as your happiness and well being. I don't mind Makio training you and teaching you skills, with that you can easily be called into town to help with little things. I don't mind As long as you promise to come back to me." I fluttered my eyes a couple times.

It seemed like an easy promise I'll always come back here, my home was here with them, and it was no where else. I found myself smiling squeezing his hands back deeply nodding my head eagerly a few times.

"I promise to come back to you." He smiled cupping my cheeks pressing a soft kiss to my lips for a moment.

"That's my girl I'm glad you opened up, I didn't think any of us could stand you hiding from us any longer." Suma nodded her head frantically at me, her large tears brimming her round eyes harshly.

"You had me worried again! We love you!" I felt my heart swoon gently holding my free arm out for her feeling her burying her head on my chest sobbing loudly I squeezed her tightly resting my head on hers.

"I apologize for worrying you guys." I shut my eyes firmly cooing as I swayed her small body gently opening my eyes once again. I felt like I was making small progress.
