Elora slept unevenly in her chambers in her golden four poster bed with silk white sheets and quilt and pillows.
In her head, screams and nightmares of her parents deaths were playing in her head.Edrahil tried to run towards his wife who was taken down by the Orotakas but the Orotakas took him down to the ground. "SHAYLEE!," Edrahil yelled and he watched his wife fade away before his eyes and he was hit by an arrow in the side before he fell backwards to the ground.
"NO! NO, AMADOR!," Elora screamed in her sleep, "NAMINA!," The lights in Elora's chambers started flickering because of her emotions connection with her powers. Emersion stormed into the chambers after had heard the young Light elf's screaming and he hurried over to her bed. "Elora?," he spoke softly and sat down on the edge of the bed at her side. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Elora, my child, wake up. It's just a dream," he said softly. Elora quickly woke up and sat up in bed, looking at Emersion with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Emersion," she said frightened. "Hey, shh, I'm here, Vynithel. It was just a dream," he said softly. Elora swallowed. "It felt so real. I could see them. They were... Mother! Father!," And she broke out in tears. Emersion pulled the young Light elf into his arm. "It was terrible! I could hear the screams!," Elora cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Shh," Emersion whispered soothingly, "You're safe now. I'm here with you. I'm always going to be here with you," And Elora continued crying and Emersion gently stroked his Godchild's hair. The wizard had been like a father to her. He and Charline had taken care of her when her parents were away on occasions and Emersion had been her teacher in magic and fighting. He and Charline had been named her Godparents when she was baptised almost a hundred years ago. Emersion broke the hug to look at her. "I shall get you a sleeping potion. It will help you against the nightmares. It will help you sleep," And Elora swallowed and nodded. "I'll be right back," he said softly before leaving the chambers.
Emersion soon returned with a potion and held it to her lips. "Drink," he said softly. Elora slowly drank a few drops of the potion and she felt herself growing more tired. Emersion smiled weakly at her. "So, better?," And Elora nodded weakly. Emersion hurried to catch her so she wouldn't fall back so hard in the bed and he gently pulled the covers over her. "Sleep now, my child," he whispered soothingly and gave Elora a soft kiss on the forehead. Emersion sighed and left the hall. He had been very close to her parents and her mother had had the same name as his daughter. "Shaylee" It meant Princess on the field. He sighed deeply. He knew he needed to do anything to keep Elora safe.
